American Idol Hannah Harper Won Season 24 In Finale Episode (Recap)
Earlier tonight, May 11, 2026, ABC aired the finale episode for American Idol’s current season 24, and we finally found out who won this thing by the time it all wrapped up.
The celebrity judges: Luke Bryan, Lionel Richie, and Carrie Underwood were all on hand once again. The top three finalists: Hannah Harper, Jordan McCullough, and Keyla Richardson did their very last performances for this season in an effort to get enough votes from America to win this season.
Singing star Alicia Keys showed up to mentor the final three contestants. She also did a special performance along with other special guest stars: Brad Paisley, Blues Traveler, Gin Blossoms, Clay Aiken, En Vogue, Jason Mraz, Lee Ann Womack, Nelly, Shinedown, Tori Kelly, and viral breakout star Cameron Whitcomb.
The top three finalists kicked off their finale performances by singing Alicia Key songs. Hannah Harper sang, “No One” by Alicia Keys.
Keyla Richardson sang “Un-thinkable (I’m Ready)” by Alicia Keys. Jordan McCullough sang, “If I Ain’t Got You” by Alicia Keys.
Next, the final three performed Hometown dedication songs. Hannah Harper kicked off the hometown dedication songs by singing, “Married Into This Town.” Keyla Richardson sang, “I Love the Lord.” To wrap up tonight’s performances from the top 3 finalists, Jordan McCullough sang, “Dear God.”
After that, the special guest stars served up special performances. When all of that wrapped up, host Ryan Seacrest got on stage to finally reveal that Keyla Richardson landed in third place after America’s LIVE voting.
Then, he revealed that Jordan McCullough was the runner-up, which means that Hannah Harper is the winner of American Idol’s 24th season! So, much congrats to Hannah Harper. How do you guys feel about Hannah Harper being the winner of this season?
