New NCIS Sydney Season 4 Is Happening. CBS Renewed It

Tonight, May 12, 2026, CBS is airing the 19th and 20th episodes for NCIS: Sydney’s current season 3, and they will be the finale episodes. So, the next question for this show is will there be a new season 4? The folks over at Deadline.com , answered that question for us in a recent article of theirs.

According to their sources, CBS did renew NCIS; Sydney for a brand new season 4, and they did it quite early too. The official renewal announcement dropped back in January 2026. So, CBS must have been very pleased with its season 3 performance.

In addition to the NCIS: Sydney season 4 renewal, Deadline pointed out that CBS also renewed the original NCIS and NCIS: Origins for new seasons. So, they will return with a new season 24 for NCIS and season 3 for NCIS: Origins.

Currently, CBS hasn’t released the details about the new NCIS: Sydney season 4 premiere date or episode count. So, we’ll have to give you those details at a later date when CBS finally releases them.

According to the LIVE Nielsen ratings, NCIS: Sydney averaged 2.703 million LIVE viewers per episode, and a 0.15 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics.

The most recent episode 18, which aired last Tuesday night, May 5, 2026, drew in 3.031 million LIVE viewers along with a 0.18 ratings score.

The most-viewed episode was episode 5 with 3.152 million LIVE viewers. The least-viewed episode was episode 14 with 2.350 million LIVE viewers.

The highest-rated episode was episode 10 with a 0.22 ratings score. The lowest-rated episode was episode 8 with a 0.11 ratings score.
