From New Season 5 Is Happening. MGM Plus Renewed It

Today, June 28, 2026, MGM Plus aired the 10th episode for From’s current season 4,and it was the finale episode. So, we did search to see if MGM Plus renewed it for a new season 5, and it turns out that they did according to a recent report from the folks over at Deadline and their sources.

They’re telling us that the renewal decision actually happened back in April 2026. So, it’s been known for quite some time. There’s only one caveat for this season 5 renewal. We’re being told that season 5 will be the final season. So, you can put any idea of a new season 6 out of your minds right now. They plan to wrap up this series with season 5.

Deadline went on to reveal that the new season 5 production plans are set to take place over in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Then, season 5 is expected to finally arrive on the MGM Plus’ streaming platform at some point in 2027. No exact dates or episode count was given. So, we will have to wait for those important details.

The showrunners of the show made a very positive statement about the new season 5 renewal saying, “We are wildly excited to announce that we’ve officially begun work on season 5, which means we will get the chance to see our story to its conclusion.

Which means questions will be answered. Answers will be questioned. And there will surely be a cascade of tears and terrors in-between.
