Big Brother August 27 Evicted Mallory Aurichio In LIVE Eviction Episode (Recap)

Earlier tonight, August 27, 2026, CBS aired another new, LIVE eviction episode for Big Brother’s current season 28, and another unlucky houseguest bit the eviction bullet at the end of it.

Since this was the 1000th episode for Big Brother, they kicked things off with a celebration by taking a look back at past seasons and so on and so forth. America voted “Dan’s Funeral” as the most favorite moment in Big brother history. Janelle won the “Best Player To Never Win The Game” and “Favorite Comp Beast” vote by America.

“The Cookout” alliance won for best alliance in Big Brother History. Rachel Reilly won for most iconic saying with, “Floaters, you better grab a life vest.” The Guinness Book of World Records arrived to reveal that Big Brother set records for the most episodes for a primetime TV show, and most episodes for a reality competition show. Dan Gheesling won America’s vote for favorite “Big Brother” winner.

After all of that, we finally got to the LIVE eviction episode events. They kicked off with footage of what happened in the house after the latest POV ceremony that featured La La aka La Trice using her veto to take herself off the chopping block, and reigning HOH (Head Of Household) Dee nominating Mallory as a replacement nominee.

Barrett told the Diary room aka the private cams, “What the hell? Now, I have to choose between my two friends.” Dee told the private cams, “Taylor was my target. Now, it’s shifted to Mallory.” Drew told the private cams, “This just makes no sense.”

Taylor told the private cams, “I can’t express how bad I want Drew out of this game. I want to win the BB Blockbuster, and then vote to get Drew out.” Devens told the private cams, “We gotta hope Drew and Barrett will get on board to help us get Mallory out.”

Melody told the private cams, “I will vote to keep Mallory over Drew or Taylor.” Barrett told the private cams, “Taylor is the target this week. They will not flip me to vote out Mallory over Taylor.”

Mallory told the private cams, “I’m really mad because I was convinced to trust Dee, and I could’ve probably beat her time in that last HOH comp.” Devens told the private cams, “Taking Mallory out is the obvious move for us because it will bring Drew and Barrett closer to us.”

Update: Some very limited time deals just got unleashed. Read More.

Yash told Dee, “I wanna see Drew go.” They tried to convince Yash to vote out Mallory. Devens and Dee campaigned hard to get votes to take out Mallory. Barret was seen, making plans to vote off Drew if he’s sitting on the block against Mallory. Barrett told the private cams, “I think it’s time to go to war and blindside the icons.”

After all of that, the eviction nominees: Mallory, Drew and Taylor competed in the BB Blockbuster competition for one last shot at safety. It was titled, “BB Grand Cliptacular.” It was a mental/physical comp that involved memorizing certain clues from past Big Brother clips. Drew won it to claim safety. So, Mallory and Taylor were give a couple of minutes to do some last minute campaigning before giving their final plea speeches.

Then, the rest of the houseguests minus HOH Dee cast their votes to evict. Angela, Drew, Yash, Haley, Devens and La Trice all voted to evict Mallory. Melody and Barrett voted to evict Taylor. So, by a landslide vote of 6-2, Mallory was sadly evicted from the Big Brother house tonight.

Mallory gave her exit interview with host Julie Chen-Moonves. Mallory told Julie, “I think Barrett and Melody voted to keep me. I expected Drew to vote me out to show loyalty to the vets. Plus, he knew I didn’t have the votes to stay. I’m not mad at him.

In regards to Dee, I don’t think it was the right move for her to get me out. I think she made a lot of enemies in there. We’ll see how it works out for her.

I did kind of slow down in the last HOH competition to let Dee win it because I wasn’t sure who I would put up. I might have had to go against some of my friends. It definitely wasn’t the right decision, considering where I’m at right now. In regards to this experience, I’m glad I met the people that I met.”

To cap off tonight’s episode, Julie revealed that this week will present a twist that’s so lethal it will cause one of the houseguests to get evicted before the usual Thursday night LIVE eviction episode!
