Big Brother September 3 Evicted La Trice Verrett In LIVE Eviction Episode (Recap)
Earlier tonight, September 3, 2026, CBS aired another new, LIVE eviction episode for Big Brother’s current season 28, and another unlucky contestant did indeed bite the dust when it was all over.
Tonight’s new installment kicked off with footage of what took place in the house after the latest POV ceremony that featured Yash using his veto to take himself off the eviction chopping block, and current HOH (Head Of Household) Drew nominating Devens as a replacement nominee/pawn.
Devens told the Diary room aka the private cams, “I know how stupid it is to volunteer to be a pawn, but I think it might work for me.”
Drew told the private cams, “Hopefully, Devens will win the BB Blockbuster. If he doesn’t, I think we still have the votes to keep him.” Dee told the private cams, “Never ever would I volunteer to be a pawn.”
La La aka La Trice told the private cams, “It is so nice to see Devens on the block. If me or Taylor win the blockbuster, Devens hits the door.”
Melody told the private cams, “I think we have the votes to get out Devens if he loses the blockbuster.” Barrett told Melody he would turn on the icons and vote out Devens if he loses the blockbuster.
Barret told the private cams, “I’m spending as much time with The Crossovers (Angela, Drew, Devens and Dee) so they think I’m still with them. I’m not trying to ride the Crossover’s wave. I want to create my own waves in this game.”
Dee told the private cams, “I’m getting sketched out by Drew, Devens and Barrett’s relationship. It’s got me rethinking what I want to happen this week.” She told Angela, “I’m worried that Drew, Devens and Barrett will eventually come for us.” Dee told the private cams, “The time to take a shot at Devens might be now.” Angela was seen, agreeing with Dee considering taking out Devens this week.
After all of that, the three eviction nominees: La Trice, Taylor and Devens all competed in the BB Blockbuster competition for one last shot at safety. It was titled, “Your Game In Ruins.” During it, they had to run and retrieve spear balls to drop into a tube. The first to get 4 spear balls into the tube, won.
It had a time limit. So, if time ran out, the one who got the most spears in that time frame, won. Devens won it to claim his safety. So, La Trice and Taylor were given a few minutes to do some last minute campaigning before giving their final plea speeches.
Then, the rest of the houseguests minus HOH Drew cast their votes to evict. Dee, Barrett, Yash, and Devens all voted to evict La Trice. Angela and Melody voted to evict Taylor. So, by a vote of 4-2, La Trice was evicted from the Big Brother house tonight to become the first member of the jury.
La Trice gave her exit interview with host Julie Chen-Moonves. La Trice told Julie, “I came up short because these suckers just don’t know what to do. I was always on the bottom, and they knew Taylor doesn’t win that much.
I won the wall at 58 years old. I held on longer than Kamu who is an MMA fighter. I’m bad. I know Angela voted to keep me. I think Dee voted to keep me. These people make the tears come out.
Sometimes, I was really confused. Totally confused. I just had to fake it till I made it. That’s all. It has been a pleasure and honor to hold my own against them. I made it to the jury. I’m cool.”
