Best Medicine September 20 Season 2 Premiere Episode Spoilers Reveal A Mermaid Debacle & More
According to FOX, they are officially scheduled to air the very first, premiere episode 1 of Best Medicine’s new season 2 tonight, September 20, 2026, and it will feature a debacle involving a mermaid getting washed ashore and more.
According to FOX’s official episode 1 press release intel, the writers decided to go with the name, “Be Careful What You Fish For” as an official title for this one.
This episode will feature new scenes from Martin, a mermaid, a guest character named Judith played by Andrea Martin, Louisa, Eden, Greg, George and more. The spoiler intel from FOX’s episode synopsis is telling us that Martin will be seen, continuing to have issues with his blood phobia dilemma.
Elsewhere, everyone in town is going to be shocked and amazed when a mermaid gets washed ashore in Port Wenn! We’re being told that the guest character Judith is a well-meaning towns person in this episode, but she will start wreaking some havoc while on oxygen that was prescribed to her.
Louisa will keep seeing Martin’s girlfriend Eden in order to get some medical guidance. A final spoiler scoop for this new installment 1 is letting us know that Greg and George will experience some success from the seas urchin boom situation. However, all of that activity will begin to take its toll on the two of them at some point.

Again, FOX’s press release confirmed that they are airing the this very first, premiere episode 1 of Best Medicine’s new season 2 tonight, September 26, 2026 in the 7 pm central standard time slot. Then, it will switch to a regular Tuesday night, 7 pm central time slot schedule on September 29, 2026.
