The Rainmaker New Season 2 Is Happening. USA Network Renewed It

According to a couple of our sources, the people over at the USA Network have not officially announced that they’re renewing their hit crime/drama series The Rainmaker for a brand new season 2 yet. So, tonight’s season 1 finale episode 10 might very well be the last one forever. Update: USA Network renewed the show for a new season 2

However, it is highly believed that the USA Network will eventually announce that they are renewing the show at some point. But technically, they haven’t yet. So, we’re still left to wonder.

According to a recent article from Deadline.com , The Rainmaker put up big viewership numbers for USA network when it debuted back in August 2025, drawing in 2.2 million viewers the first three days it was out. The article went on to say that it continued to draw in 6.3 million viewers at that time.

With those kind of numbers, we can’t imagine that USA wouldn’t want to keep it if the budget is right. The budget always has to be right. It will always come down to is the show cheap enough to make USA Network a profit at the end of the day. Only they know that. So, we’ll just have to wait and see for now.
