Widow’s Bay New Season 2 Is Happening. Apple TV Renewed It
Today, June 17, 2026, Apple TV released the 10th episode of Widow’s Bay’s premiere season 1, and it was the finale episode episode. So, we did search to see if Apple TV renewed it for a new season 2.
According to the folks over at Deadline and their sources, we can happily tell you that Apple TV did indeed give it a new season 2 renewal order. So, new episodes will arrive at some point in the future.
Apple TV announced the new season 2 renewal this month. So, it was not early or late. It was right on time. The head of programming for Apple TV Matt Cherniss made a very positive statement about Widow’s Bay and its staff saying, “From the moment audiences arrived in Widow’s Bay, they’ve been hooked on every eerie mystery, unexpected laughs, and cursed secret that Katie, Hiro Murai, Matthew, and the entire team have created.
It’s become one of those shows everyone’s talking about, and we’re thrilled to see audiences continue to embrace it. We can’t wait to return for another season.”
The show’s creator Katie Dippold did give a little spoiler tease for the new season 2 stating, “Season two is about how everything is great on the island and there’s nothing to worry about.”
Currently, there’s no release date or episode count for the new season 2. We’re going to have to give you those important details at a later date when they become available from Apple TV.
