Dutton Ranch New Season 2 Is Happening. Paramount Plus Renewed It

Today, July 3, 2026, Paramount Plus aired the 9th episode of Dutton Ranch’s current, premiere season 1, and it was the finale episode. So, we did check to see if it got renewed for a new season 2.

Happily, we can officially tell you that it was renewed for a new season 2. So, you can expect to see another new set of episodes make their arrival at some point in the future.

According to the folks over at Deadline and their sources, the renewal announcement happened towards the end of June 2026. So, it pretty much came right on time. They’re also telling us that Dutton Ranch was Paramount Plus’ biggest original series launch in the network’s history.

Chad Feehan who created the Dutton Ranch spinoff is reportedly exiting as showrunner after this season one. So, a new showrunner will have to get brought on board at some point.

Jane Wiseman who is the Head of Originals for Paramount+ had some very wonderful things to say about the show during the renewal announcement stating, “Beth and Rip are among the most iconic duos in television history and we are thrilled to bring a whole new world to life with Dutton Ranch for our subscribers around the world.

We’re also incredibly grateful to our partners, including the teams at Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios, for bringing this new series to life with such grit, heart and authenticity.”

Matt Thunell who is the President of Paramount Television Studios also chimed in with a very positive statement about the show. He said, “Dutton Ranch has resonated with audiences in a powerful way, building on the legacy of beloved characters, while establishing its own identity.

Thank you to our partners at Paramount+ and 101 Studios for a phenomenal first season. We look forward to bringing fans more stories from these unforgettable characters in Season two.”

Currently, there is no season 2 premiere date or episode count. We’ll have to give you that important information at a later date when Paramount Plus releases it.
