Power Book III: Raising Kanan New Season 6 Not Happening. The Series Has Ended
Tonight, August 7, 2026, STARZ will air the next, new episode 8 of Power Book III: Raising Kanan’s current season 5, and it will be both the season and series finale from what we’re hearing over at Variety.
They’re telling us that the showrunner Sascha Penn told them that it was always his intention to wrap up the series at the end of its 5th season. So, it wasn’t actually canceled by STARZ. They just decided to end the series on the 5th season’s final note.
Additionally, Variety mentioned that you guys will still have more Power Book spinoff action to look forward to. The 4th and last season of Power Book IV: Force is currently in production. Meanwhile, STARZ revealed that they have greenlit a Power prequel series called, “Power: Origins.”
It will focus on the early years of characters Ghost and Tommy. They did not reveal a release date information for these upcoming series. So, we’ll have to dish up that very important info at a later date in the future.
Again, it’s officially confirmed that there will be no new season 6 for Power Book III: Raising Kanan. The showrunner decided to end the show after season 5.
