Lucky, Apple TV New Season 2 Still In Question. It Hasn’t Been Renewed Yet
Today, August 19, 2026, Apple TV dished up episode 7 of Lucky’s current, premiere season 1, and it was the season finale episode. So, we did take a look to see if Apple TV had serve up an official season 2 renewal order for it, and the word that we’re getting around the internet streets is that they have not renewed it yet.
So, that means episode 7 may very well have been the last episode forever. According to the people over at Showsnob and their sources, they’re saying that Apple TV meant for this Lucky to just be a limited series. Usually, when shows get labeled with the limited series stamp, that’s it. They’re done after one season.
Also, our sources over at The Futon Critic are telling us that Lucky was definitely labeled a “limited series” by Apple TV.
Given that information, it’s highly unlikely that Lucky will get renewed for a new season 2, but anything is possible. So, who knows really? It’s just very unlikely.
It really sucks too with most of these streaming shows these days. The networks order really short seasons to where once they really start picking up steam, the season has ended already. And in may cases, the actual series has ended altogether. So, you never even see any new episodes again forever. Oh, well.
Again, Lucky has not currently been renewed for a new season 2 by Apple TV, and it’s highly likely that it won’t since it has been marked a limited series, but we’ll see what the future actually holds as more time goes by.
