Project Runway August 20 New Episode To Feature An Unconventional Materials Challenge & More
According to Freeform, they are officially set to air another new episode of Project Runway tonight, August 26, 2026, and it will feature the contestants having to complete a materials challenge while also battling contestants from the last season 21. This episode is the 7th one for this current season 22.
According to Freeform’s official episode 7 press release intel, the producers decided to go with the name, “Battle of the Seasons.”
The preview info from Freeform’s episode description is telling us that the remaining contestants will get hit with a new challenge that requires them to actually battle contestants from last season 21.
This battle will have them trying to complete a classic, unconventional materials challenge. We’re being told that this will be a very high-stakes showdown event that will feature some familiar faces to boot. Who will win between the season 21 and season 22 teams? That is a big question we’ll be looking to see get answered before this episode wraps up tonight.
Again, Freeform’s press release confirmed that they are officially scheduled to air this new episode of Project Runway’s current season 22 tonight, August 20, 2026 in the 9 pm central standard time slot.
