Press Your Luck August 27 New Episode Not Airing Tonight. It’s Been Put On Hiatus
According to our sources over at The Futon Critic , ABC has put the current season 7 of Press Your Luck on hiatus mode. So, they are not airing a new episode of it tonight, August 27, 2026, and for an indefinite period of time.
Yep, currently, there were no details mentioned about when ABC plans to bring the show back. We’ll just have to wait and see what the future holds for it.
For now, we’re being told by TV Guide that ABC plans to fill in Press Your Luck’s empty time slot with a repeat of their scripted, drama series, “9-1-1: Nashville” tonight. It will be episode 2 of its first season 1 titled, “Hell and High Water.” It featured a very intense tornado debacle, rescue mission and more.
If any of you guys are a fan of 9-1-1: Nashville, you might still want to flip on ABC tonight to check out that repeat. If that’s not the case, or you just don’t want to see a repeat of anything, you will certainly want to make some alternate plans for this particular Thursday night time slot moving forward.
After tonight, you will need to check your local listings to see what ABC has in store for their Thursday night primetime schedule.
Again, our sources have confirmed that ABC has sent Press Your Luck into hiatus status for an indefinite period of time. So, we have no idea when another new episode will air at the moment.
