Great Food Truck Race September 6 Finale Episode 8 To Feature The Grand Prize Winner & More
According to the Food Network, they are officially scheduled serve up the next, new, finale episode 8 of The Great Food Truck Race’s current season 19 tonight, September 6, 2026, and it will feature a winner-takes-all showdown challenge. Then, the crowning of the grand prize winner and more!
According to the Food Network’s official press release info, the producers decided name/title this episode, “Sweet & Savory: The Legends of Louisville.”
The preview info from the Food Network’s episode description is telling us that only the final two teams will be left to start up this finale episode, and they will get hit with a couple of new challenges over in the iconic Louisville Slugger Museum in Louisville, Kentucky.
Before the first challenge starts, they will get a surprise visit from their family and friends for a good emotional boost. Then, the first challenge will be a taste challenge that requires them to cook up a dish that uses one of four particular ingredients to pack a big punch.
After that, the very last challenge of this season will go down at the legendary Churchill Downs. It will require them to battle it out in a winner-takes-all showdown event. This very last challenge will get judged by 500 fans, Tyler and a guest judge named Damaris Phillips. Finally, this episode will conclude with the grand prize winner getting crowned and taking home a cool $50,000 dollars.
Again, the Food Network’s press release confirmed that they are airing the next, new, finale episode 8 of The Great Food Truck Race’s current season 19 tonight, September 6, 2026 in the 8 pm central standard time slot.
