Naked And Afraid Shipwrecked September 27 New Episode Not Airing. Season 1 Has Ended
According to our sources over at The Futon Critic , the most recent episode 8 of Naked and Afraid: Shipwrecked’s current, premiere season 1, which aired last Sunday night, September 20, 2026, was the season finale episode. So, the Discovery Channel doesn’t have anymore new episodes to air for it tonight, September 27, 2026, and for the foreseeable future.
We’re being told that the Discovery Channel hasn’t given the show a new, season 2 renewal order yet. So, its future fate is still being decided.
We couldn’t track down any official ratings data for this particular spin-off of the series. So, we can’t even give you an educated guess on any possible renewals for it. We’re just going to have to totally wait and see what the Discovery Channel decides to do with it.
In the meantime, the Discovery Channel is telling us that they plan to fill in Naked And Afraid: Shipwrecked’s usual, 7 pm central standard time slot with a repeat episode of “In the Eye of the Storm” tonight. It will be the episode titled,”Stranded in St. Louis.” It featured a deep look at mile-wide tornado disaster that ripped through St.Louis back in May 2025.
Next Sunday night, October 4, 2026, the Discovery Channel is going to air a show called, “Jeff Dunham’s The Cars That Drove Us” in that 7 pm central time slot. The episode is titled, “Hummer.” It’s a show about the history of the Humvee vehicle.
After the October 4, 2026 date, you guys will need to check your local listings to see what the Discovery Channel is serving up in that empty, 7 pm central time slot.
Again, our sources have confirmed that Naked And Afraid: Shipwrecked’s current, premiere season 1 did end with the airing of the most recent episode 8 last week. So, there will be no more new episodes for it for an indefinite period of time.
