CBS 48 Hours September 26 & October 3 Episodes Not Airing. They’re Preempted
According to TV Guide, CBS is not going to air a new or repeat episode of 48 Hours tonight, September 26, 2026, and next Saturday night, October 3 due to some other TV obligations that they have committed to fulfilling.
However, we are happy to tell you that CBS is scheduled to finally start back airing new episodes of 48 Hours on Saturday Night, October 10, 2026 in their usual, 9 pm central standard time slot. So, definitely be sure to mark that very important date and time down on your TV schedules if you can.
In the meantime, we’re being told by TV Guide that CBS is going to provide LIVE coverage of a college football game tonight. It will feature the Arizona Diamondbacks vs. the Washington State Nationals.
Then, next Saturday night, October 3, 2026, CBS is scheduled to provide LIVE coverage of the MMA, UFC 332 event featuring Natalia Silva vs Wang Cong as the headlining fight. It’s taking place in Salt Lake City, Utah.
If any of you guys find that alternate line of programming to be enticing at all, you might still want to flip on CBS tonight and next Saturday night to check all of that out. If not, you will certainly want to make some alternate plans until that October 10, 2026 date rolls around.
Again, TV Guide has confirmed that CBS is not airing a new or repeat episode of 48 Hours tonight, September 26, 2026, and next Saturday night, October 3, but they are scheduled to start airing new episodes of 48 Hours again on Saturday night, October 10, 2026 in their usual, 9 pm central standard time slot.
