New 60 Minutes October 11 Episode To Feature Growing Threats Against The President And More

According to CBS, they are officially scheduled to air another brand new edition of their hit news show, “60 Minutes” tonight, October 11, 2026, and it will feature a new segment about some increasing threats against the President Of The United States and more.


According to CBS’ official press release information for this episode, it will feature a total of three new segments from the 60 Minutes team.

The first, new segment is titled, “IN THE LINE OF FIRE.” It will feature an interview with Secret Service Director Sean Curran and Deputy Director Matt Quinn. They will discuss the numerous threats that are currently being aimed at the current President Of The United States Donald J Trump along with other protectees.

They will talk about how the agency is handling all the threats from both foreign and domestic locations. Some topics that will be discussed are new technologies, drones and more. Correspondent Norah O’Donnell handled the reporting duties for this segment. Michael Rey, Pat Milton and Julie Morse Goff produced it.


The second, new segment is titled, “LOST SHEEP.” It will feature the team talking about all the recent violence that has taken place over in the West Bank and how militant settlers have been trying to drive out Palestinians who live there.

They will take a loop at a group called, “Hilltop Youth” who are responsible for a lot of violent attacks over there and how Jewish activists are working hard to try and stop them. Lesley Stahl handled the reporting. Shachar Bar-On produced it.

The 3rd and final segment for this new episode is titled, “JON BATISTE.” This one will take a deep look at virtuoso Jon Batiste who is a Grammy, Emmy, and Oscar winning musician. They will take a look at how he started out at in Louisiana and made his way to the Julliard school and so on and so forth.

The team will also visit a recording session that took place at the Electric Lady located over in the Greenwwich Village, and a performance that took place at the Hollywood Bowl. Correspondent Bill Whitaker did the reporting for this one. Marc Lieberman and Cassidy McDonald produced it.

Again, CBS’ press release confirmed that the are officially scheduled to air this brand new episode of 60 Minutes tonight, October 11, 2026 in the 6 pm central standard time slot.
