According to CBS, they are officially scheduled to air another new episode of FBI tonight, October 12, 2026, and it will feature an undercover cop getting murdered debacle and more. This episode is the second one for this current season 9.
According to CBS’ official episode 2 press release information, the writers decided to go with the name, “Omissions” as an official title for this one.
This episode will feature new scenes from the team, Maggie, OA and more. The spoiler intel that we were able to get from CBS’ episode synopsis is telling us that at some point in this installment, an undercover NYPD cop will get murdered right in front of his daughter’s school, prompting an intense investigation from the FBI team.
During their investigation, the team finds out that the cop was likely killed by a drug dealer who was trying to clear his name. However, the deeper that the team gets into this investigation, the more cover-up schemes they run into. One of them reveals that the drug dealer was actually framed for the murder. So, he actually teams up with the FBI to crack this case.
A final spoiler scoop for this new episode 2 is letting us know that Maggie will be seen, finally bonding with her new partner, and she will get pulled into a situation that has her secretly giving OA a helping hand. Episode 2 was written by Eduardo Javier Canto and Ryan Maldonado. It was directed by Michael Kattleman.
