New Grey’s Anatomy Season 15 Premiere Date Finally Revealed By ABC
Hey, “Grey’s Anatomy” fans. It is finally that time of the year again where ABC got around to revealing their 2018 Fall TV show premiere dates. And of course, Grey’s Anatomy’s 15th season premiere date was thrown into this mix. It appears that it’s going to debut around the same time it did last year which is no surprise to us.
They’re shooting for that last Thursday of September which will land on September 27, 2018 with the same 7 pm central standard time slot. So, be sure to mark that very important date down on your TV show schedules. The season 15 premiere date is just currently shy of two months away. Another important thing to make note of is that the season 15 premiere episode will be another huge, two hour show just like last year’s premiere. So, be sure to clear out two hours of your time on that night.
The Grey’s Anatomy season 15 premiere will be followed up by the 5th season premiere of Shonda Rhimes other show “How To Get Away With Murder.” It will air in that 9 pm central standard time slot. If any of you guys are a fan of that show too, you’ll definitely want to make note of that and plan accordingly.
We’re also hearing from a recent TV Line report that the new theme for season 15 is “The Season Of Love.” They said this is what the showrunner Krista Vernoff is naming it. The new 15th season recently started filming a week or so ago in Seattle, Washington.
It’s revealed that season 15 will pick up where season 14 left off. TV Line spoke with actress Camilla Luddington who plays character Jo Wilson on the show at the recent 2018 Comic-Con event in San Diego, California. She told them of the show,”There’s not a massive time jump.” She also revealed that her MD will make progress in her ongoing search for her “specialty.”
As we mentioned earlier. Not only did ABC reveal when Grey’s Anatomy’s season 15 will premiere, they also revealed premier dates for all their other shows too. On Monday, September 24, 2018, the 27th season of “Dancing With The Stars” will debut in the 7 pm to 9 pm central standard time slot with a two hour show. It will be followed up by “The Good Doctor” season 2 in the 9 pm to 10 pm central time slot.
On Wednesday night, September 26, 2018, the 6th season of The Goldbergs will be premiering in the 7 pm to 7:30 pm central time slot. It will be followed up by American Housewife’s season 3 premiere in the 7:30 pm to 8 pm central time slot. Modern Family’s new 10 season debut will follow in at 8 pm to 8:30 pm. The series premiere of “Single Parents” will take that 8:30 pm to 9 pm central time slot. Then at 9 pm to 10 pm, another new show called, “A Million Little Things” will debut.
On Sunday, September 30, 2018, the 29th season of America’s Funniest Home Videos will premiere in the 6 pm to 7 pm central standard time slot.
On Thursday night, October 4, 2018, They Grey’s Anatomy spin off show “Station 19” will debut it’s new, second season in the 8 pm to 9 pm central standard time slot. So, it’ll be airing right after Grey’s Anatomy.
On Friday night, October 5, 2018, the season 5 premiere of “Fresh Off The Boat” will air in the 7 pm to 7:30 pm central standard time slot. It will be followed by the new, 3rd season of “Speechless in the 7:30 pm to 8 pm time slot. Then, in that 8 pm to 9 pm central time slot,the second season of “Child Support” will debut.
On Sunday night, October 7, 2018, “Dancing With The Stars: Junior Edition” will make its series debut in the 7 pm to 9 pm central standard time slot. It will be followed up by the new,10th season of “Shark Tank” in the 9 pm to 10 pm central time slot.
On Sunday night, October 14, 2018, the series premiere of “The Alec Baldwin Show” will debut in the 9 pm to 10 pm central standard time slot.
On Tuesday night, October 16, 2018, the series premiere of “The Conners” will debut in the 7 pm to 7:30 pm central standard time slot. It will be followed up by the series premiere of “The Kids Are Alright” in the 7:30 pm to 8 pm central time slot.
The new, 5th season premiere of “Black-ish” will take over that 8 pm to 8:30 pm central time slot. The second season premiere of “Splitting Up Together” will follow in right behind in the 8:30 pm to 9 pm central time slot. To cap off that night, the series premiere of “The Rookie” will fill the 9 pm to 10 pm central time slot.
Other ABC shows that will be starting up in the midseason are: American Idol, The Bachelor, THE FIX, For the People (will replace HGTAWM after season ends), GRAND HOTEL, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., SCHOOLED and WHISKEY CAVALIER.
The following shows were canceled by ABC: Alex Inc., The Crossing, Deception, Designated Survivor, Kevin (Probably) Saves the World, Marvel’s Inhumans, The Mayor, The Middle, Once Upon a Time, Quantico, Scandal,Ten Days in the Valley and The Toy Box.
Shows that are currently in limbo for ABC are: Battle of the Network Stars and Boy Bands.
