New Big Brother Season 20 Power Of Veto Winner Revealed For August 19, 2018
Hey, fellow “Big Brother” fans. This is our big Power Of Veto news report. Let’s just go ahead and jump right into this. First, we’ll go ahead and get you guys up to speed on what took place before yesterday’s Power Of Veto competition.
As previously reported,Faysal won the HOH competition this past Thursday night, August 16, 2018. Then JC heavily manipulated Faysal into thinking that Scottie ,who was his only ally other than Haleigh, had this big, elaborate scheme to evict Faysal in an effort to snatch up Haleigh all for himself. As a result, the plan to nominate Scottie for eviction was in full effect.
Faysal’s eviction nomination took place late Friday evening, August 17, 2018. When everything was said and done, it was revealed that Faysal did indeed nominate Scottie for eviction along with Brett. This was really a major shock to Scottie and to all of us because he was Faysal’s only other ally other than Haleigh.
Scottie confronted Faysal right after the nomination ceremony about it. In a nutshell, Faysal told Scottie, “You and Brett both claimed to have voted for Angie Rockstar to stay. So, I had to put you both up. You guys can just play for veto and that’s it.”
Then fast forward to the Power Of Veto competition. It took place yesterday, August 18, 2018. Faysal and his two eviction nominees Brett and Scottie were automatically playing for veto. Angela and Tyler’s names were randomly drawn to play for it. Scottie got the houseguest’s choice, and chose Haleigh to play for veto since she was the most likely person to use it on him if she won. Kaycee was selected to host the competition.
The Power Of Veto competition was revealed to be the “Hide & Seek Veto” comp hosted by Zingbot which means the house got completely trashed. An interesting thing to note was that during the comp, Brett didn’t even try searching for other veto cards. Instead, he spent all his time keeping guard over his card’s position. And it apparently worked because Brett did indeed emerge the winner of the Power Of Veto competition!
With that said, we’re quite sure that Brett will use the power of veto to save himself from the eviction chopping block tomorrow, August 20, 2018. However, there’s someone currently in the house that is just that crazy enough to think that Brett would use the veto on Scottie!
We’ve got a couple of interesting conversations to go over with you guys. The crazy person I’m talking about is freaking Sam. That’s right. She was seen talking with Scottie late last night and into the morning hours of today about what happened this week with Faysal and the nominations. Scottie expressed that he truly can’t believe that Faysal nominated him. “I was on his side.” Sam said, ” I know.”
Then Sam started offering up some really strange suggestions that could possibly help Scottie stay this week. One of the crazy ideas she tossed out there was: Brett use the veto to save Scottie instead of himself! I’m serious guys and so was Sam! She was really serious about this. Of course, Scottie told her he doesn’t think that would ever happen.
Sam kept saying,” It could.” But, it gets worse. Sam went as far as to actually pitch the idea to Brett when he joined in on their conversation. Brett, of course, gave Sam a hard “no” to that idea. Then Brett actually had to explain to Sam what his reasoning is. Brett told her, “I would go home if I did that.” Sam said, “Oh, that sucks.” So, it’s quite apparent that Sam still doesn’t have a full working grasp of this game, and she’s also a little nutty.
That wasn’t it for Sam though. She tossed out another shocking idea to Scottie. She said, “What if you could get Faysal to nominate Haleigh as a replacement?” Scottie, of course, said he doesn’t think that would ever, ever happen. Brett echoed that comment.
But, Sam had a very different idea in her mind. She actually said she thinks it would be easy to get Faysal to flip on Haleigh! Brett threw out a bet to Sam that he would chain smoke all her cigarettes if she could get Faysal to flip and put up the girl he loves on the block. Sam said, “No,I would never make you do that.” But, she held to her claim that she could easily make Faysal flip and nominate Haleigh.
This stuff just keeps getting better and better. As their conversation continued, Sam said that she is actually going to try and talk with Faysal sometime today, and really try to get Faysal to flip on Haleigh! I don’t think there’s a chance in Hell of this is working, but I’m sure excited to see her try.
Scottie told Sam he’s onboard with her crazy plan because what other options does he have at this point? Scottie also mentioned that he regrets letting himself get played by Haleigh. Also, if he somehow stays this week, he will definitely target Faysal.
At one point, Brett told Scottie that he thinks Faysal definitely nominated them out of jealousy for Haleigh. Brett said, “We were the two guys that talked to her the most.”
There was a conversation that took place between Faysal and Haleigh. She tried to suggest to Faysal that he nominate Sam as a replacement for Brett because she knows Sam will come after her. In fact, she got really mad that Faysal promised Sam that he would never nominate her.
Faysel has apparently been convinced that it’s best to nominate Kaycee as a replacement for Brett. He’s also been trying to work deals with Tyler and Angela. They, of course, are just playing along because their real plan for the future is to nominate Haleigh and Faysal together.
We don’t think Sam would ever be able to convince Faysal to nominate Haleigh as a replacement. But, on the other hand, if there was ever a person dumb enough to do something like that, we definitely do think it would be Faysal, hands down.
Alright guys. That’s pretty much it for the big events that happened yesterday. We’re definitely going to be watching closely today to see if Sam really tries to flip Faysal against Haleigh. The Power Of Veto ceremony is scheduled to take place sometime tomorrow, August 20, 2018. We’ll be running a big report on that. So, be sure to look out for it.
