New ‘Riverdale’ Season 3, October 17, 2018 Episode 2 Spoiler Teasers Revealed By The CW
Happy Friday, fellow Riverdale fans. Wow, the season 3 premiere episode definitely did not disappoint this past Wednesday night, October 10, 2018. We saw Archie end up going to prison after taking that involuntary manslaughter deal. Alice and Polly were acting really strange with that whole “the Farm” cult.
Later, we saw them making babies float over burning flames. It was really weird. We’re still trying to figure out what that was all about. Whatever it was, it totally made Betty fall out and appear to have some major seizures. It was very disturbing. We can tell you right now that Betty will apparently be ok and back on her feet in this upcoming episode two.
What we have in this article for you guys is a brief spoiler teaser of what’s in store for the upcoming,second episode of season 3. The CW recently put out their press release for it. It offers a brief teaser description and a title.
Episode 2 is entitled, “Chapter Thirty-Seven: Fortune and Men’s Eyes.” Episode 2 sounds like it will feature some more interesting scenarios as Betty and Jughead try to solve another mystery. Archie attempts to get accustomed to his new prison life while Veronica makes plans to visit him. Kevin starts to really worry about Moose’s latest actions and more.
We’ll go ahead and start things off with the Betty and Jughead, new mystery case. It turns out that these two will go on the hunt to figure out what caused a new, gruesome discovery! CW’s official description tells us, “After a gruesome discovery is made in the forest, Jughead (Cole Sprouse) and Betty (Lili Reinhart) team up to investigate Riverdale’s latest mystery.”
What will this latest mystery entail exactly? That’s the major question for this particular plotline. Whatever it is, it sounds extremely intense as usual. I’m sure we’ll also find out what the freak happened to Betty in those final scenes of episode one. Man, that was crazy.
The second storyline scoop reveals that Archie will be settling into his new prison home. Meanwhile, his lover Veronica will try to bring him something special. CW’s description tells us, “As Archie (KJ Apa) navigates his new surroundings, Veronica (Camila Mendes) devises a plan to bring a bit of home to him.”
We think it’ll be semi-interesting to see what Veronica has cooked up for Archie. We really liked the part when Veronica told her crooked father Hiram, “You no longer have a daughter.” Those were some intense words. I have a feeling they are going to do some major sparring as this new season rolls along.
The third and last teaser scoop reveals that Moose is going to join the RROTC, and it’s going to make Kevin start to seriously worry! CW’s description tells us, “Elsewhere, when Moose (guest star Cody Kearsley) decides to join the RROTC, Kevin (Casey Cott) worries he may be pulling away from him.”
This is probably the least of the scenes we care about, but we’ll see how it plays out. We really want to know what the hell Alice and Polly were doing with those babies and the flames. That was some freaky stuff. I think we can all agree on that.
The CW also released a preview clip for episode 2. It features Archie roaming the prison grounds. Then it cuts to showing Archie already finding himself in major trouble with the other prison mates as they attack him! One prison mate is seen telling Archie, “The moment you step foot in here, you lost your humanity. You’re animal now.” So, that’s not very pleasant at all.
There’s another unpleasant scene that shows Veronica yelling at the top of her lungs at Archie just before a prison guard runs over to him to smack the everliving crap out of him with a night stick! Archie’s gonna wish he didn’t make that plea deal after this. There’s no doubt about it.
One scene shows that Jughead will be trying to investigate something about a gargoyle king. The clips caps off with Jughead and Betty coming face to face with a big monster-like creature in the woods. From there, they run for their freaking lives! CW revealed that we can also expect to see other season regulars in this episode. They are: Madelaine Petsch as character Cheryl Blossom, Marisol Nichols as character Hermione Lodge, Madchen Amick as character Alice Cooper, Luke Perry as character Fred Andrews, Ashleigh Murray as character Josie McCoy , Mark Consuelos as character Hiram Lodge, Skeet Ulrich as character FP Jones and Charles Melton as character Reggie Mantle.
Episode 3 was directed by Jeff Woolnough, and it was written by Michael Grassi. The press release also confirmed that episode 3 is indeed scheduled to air on Wednesday night, October 17, 2018 at approximately 7 pm central standard time on The CW. Stay tuned.
