Big Brother Season 19 Kevin Schlehuber Recently Revealed Very Bad News About His Health
Hey, fellow Big Brother fans. Unfortunately, we have some pretty bad news to share with you guys today in reference to former season 19 Big Brother houseguest Kevin Schlehuber. He apparently hit up his official Twitter account this past Monday, October 22, 2018 to deliver a very shocking and devastating message to all of his fans about his health.
He revealed that he has cancer! On a more positive note, Kevin mentioned that he has every intention of fighting this disease and beating it. Kevin’s tweet was actually one of those photo letter tweets because he wanted to leave a message that contained more than 140 characters.
In Kevin’s letter, he wrote. “Hi everyone. I have some news to share with you. Last night, I got a call and went to the doctor with my family today. I was told I have cancer. I’m not posting this for sympathy but to raise awareness. Please go to regular check-ups and doctors appointments. Get tested and always be aware of how you feel. I feel perfectly healthy, but that is not the case.
I will beat this with the love and support from my family and close friends. Again, please get checked. It can save your life! Thank you for taking the time to read this. Back on Wednesday, October 24, 2018, Kevin hopped back on his Twitter account to deliver an update. This time, he revealed what type of cancer he has which is prostate cancer. He also revealed that he’s due to have surgery right after the Thanksgiving holidays.
Here’s exactly what Kevin said in his October 24, 2018 Twitter update message: “I can’t begin to express my feelings or my thanks to all of you who sent me their blessing and well wishes. I’m going to tell you that the first 48 hours were extremely difficult. I feel great. I exercise daily, but I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. So, I was in disbelief and shock. After reading some of the blessings sent to me and the overwhelming positive messages, I now feel it’s my turn to fight this cancer and let everyone know I WILL BEAT IT!
I’m scheduled for surgery the Monday after Thanksgiving. Until then, I’ll be living as normal as possible,exercising mentally and physically. I will be prepared for whatever comes my way. Obviously, this is very devastating and shocking news. Our prayers definitely go out to Kevin in his fight to beat this horrible disease. Hopefully, they have discovered it early enough. It sounds like they have if they’re waiting until after Thanksgiving to have the surgery. Let’s hope that’s the case.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with Kevin Schlehuber, he finished in 4th place during the 19th season of Big Brother back in 2017. He’s currently 57 years old.
