New ‘Pokemon Go’ EX Raids Passes For 2019 Are Starting To Circulate
Hey, Pokemon Go fans. We’ve got some pretty exciting news for you guys in this article. It turns out that some reports have started surfacing that reveal passes for the new 2019 EX Raids have started appearing.
According to the folks over at Heavy.com, people on the SilphRoad Subreddit page have reported getting their hands on Ex Raids passes for January 4th and 5th, 2019. Pokemon Go’s developer Niantic revealed that the Raid Boss for these EX Raids will be Attack Form Deoxys. They also revealed that the Mythical Pokemon has come to Raid Battles as of December 20, 2018.
Heavy.com explained that the Attack Form Deoxys is similar to Normal Form Deoxys except it has even more attack and even less defense and stamina. Now, for the good part. They revealed how you guys can get a hold of these EX Raids passes! You guys will be able to get a pass by winning a regular Raid Battle at a qualifying Gym. The tag for each gym will let players know if they can host EX Raids. All of the passes come with the location, date and time of the EX Raid.
It’s highly advised that players share their passes on their social media accounts and form a group to take on the EX Raid. Players can also invite a Ultra or Best Friend to come along with them.
Additionally, it’s been reported that Pokemon Go players have a chance of winning a Research Breakthrough reward for both January and February 2019. This Research Breakthrough reward will give players the chance of encountering several different Legendary Pokemon. This reward gives players a randomly selected Legendary Pokemon to catch every time they make a breakthrough.
Breakthroughs are made by completing seven different Field Research tasks on seven different days. Currently, the complete list of Legendary Pokemon players can encounter, has not been revealed. However, Niantic did go ahead and confirm that characters Lugia and Ho-Oh will make an appearance.
Niantic posted it on their official @PokemonGoApp Twitter account. Their caption reads like this, “The year 2019 is around the corner, and it’s already looking to be legendary! When you reach a Research Breakthrough in January and February, you’ll have the chance to encounter several Legendary Pokémon, including Lugia and Ho-Oh!” You guys can view that tweet over on the official PokemonGoApp Twitter account by Clicking Here.
