NBC put out an official press release for tonight’s new, February 18, 2024 episode 28. So, that is certainly what we’ll be referencing for this spoiler session. Let’s get to it.
First thing’s first. There is an official title for this new episode 28 of Dateline NBC season 32. It’s called, “The Secret In Black Rock Canyon.”
In tonight’s new, February 18, 2024 episode 28, the Dateline NBC team will take a deep look at a story about a Pocatello, Idaho 16-year old female named Cassie Jo Stoddart. A round of mysterious events occurred while she was house sitting. Then, she was eventually found stabbed to death a few days later. The investigators who worked this case found evidence that featured a homemade horror film that pointed to who the killer is.
Canadian broadcaster Keith Morrison handled the reporting duties for this episode and case. It features interviews with: Idaho State Police Capt. John Ganske, Idaho State Police Lt. Robert Rausch, Bob Beason and Justin Sands.
NBC’s official description for tonight’s new, February 18, 2024 episode 28 of Dateline NBC season 32 reads like this, “A series of mysterious events occur while 16-year-old Cassie Jo Stoddart is housesitting, and days later, she’s found stabbed to death. When police retrace her final hours, they uncover evidence including a homemade horror film that points to her killers.”

Again, this one will be a 1-hour event. So, expect to see it wrap up at 10 pm central standard time.
