Hey, “20/20” fans. It’s time for you guys to get ready to see another brand new episode of 20/20 tonight, March 8, 2024. That’s right, guys. ABC is serving up the next, new episode 20 of this current season 46 tonight, and we’ve got some new preview information for it.
ABC served up an official press release for tonight’s new episode 20. So, we will certainly take a look at it for this preview session. Let’s do it.
To start. There is an official title for this new episode 20 of 20/20 season 46. It’s called, “Into The Darkness.”
In tonight’s new episode 20, the 20/20 team will take a deep look at a story about a 17-year old female named Brittanee Drexel. Way back in 2009, she vanished form a popular tourist destination. Finally, over a decade later, her killer is finally brought to justice. This episode will feature exclusive interviews with the FBI team who ended up cracking this case and tracking down the killer.
ABC’s official description for tonight’s new, March 8, 2024 episode 20 of 20/20 season 46 reads like this, “When 17-year-old Brittanee Drexel stopped answering text messages mid-conversation during a spring break trip in April 2009, her friends and family instantly knew something was seriously wrong.
Drexel – who was last seen on video camera footage leaving a hotel in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina – had seemingly vanished into thin air, creating a heartbreaking mystery that would haunt her friends and family for more than a decade.
Now, “20/20″ gives viewers an exclusive inside look at how a new FBI team assigned to the case finally brought justice to Brittanee with the arrest of convicted sex offender Raymond Moody and brings viewers inside the dramatic courtroom confrontation between Brittanee’s mom and her daughter’s killer for the first time.”
An alternate description tells us,”A TEENAGE GIRL VANISHES FROM A POPULAR TOURIST DESTINATION – A DECADE LATER, HER KILLER IS BROUGHT TO JUSTICE. This Program Features Exclusive Interviews With the FBI Team Who Identified Brittanee Drexel’s Killer, Culminating in a Dramatic Courtroom Showdown.”
ABC’s press release confirmed that the next, new episode 20 of 20/20’s current season 46 is indeed scheduled to make its arrival tonight, March 8, 2024, starting at approximately 8 pm central standard time. It will be a 2-hour event. So, expect it to wrap up at 10 pm central standard time.
