New 20/20 March 22, 2024 Two Hour Episode Preview Revealed
Hey, “20/20” fans. We’re back in action to let you know that another new edition of 20/20 is coming at you tonight, March 22, 2024. That’s right, guys. Tonight’s new episode is the 22nd one for this current season 46, and we’ve got some new preview intel for it.
ABC served up an official press release for tonight’s new, March 22, 2024 episode 22. So, we will certainly refer to it for this preview session. Let’s get to it.
First thing’s first. We’ve got an official title for this new episode 22 of 20/20 season 46. It’s called, “Ruby Franke: From Momfluencer To Felon.”
In tonight’s new episode 22, the 20/20 team will take a deep look into a story about a woman named Ruby Franke. She is a popular Youtube creator who is known for her strict parenting style. She had over 2.5 million subscribers.
Her emaciated son eventually escaped from her clutches, begging for help, causing Ruby’s fake front to crumble. This episode will feature all-new body camera footage, recorded phone calls, and a look at Ruby’s private journal that detailed some of the horrific abuse she committed to her child. Nightline co-anchor Juju Chang handled the reporting duties for this episode and case.
ABC’s official description for tonight’s new, March 22, 2024 episode 22 of 20/20 season 46 reads like this,”Ruby Franke’s YouTube channel “8 Passengers” was a portrait of social media success. For years, the wife and mother of six, who were members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, amassed nearly 2.5 million followers documenting the daily life of her children.
However, the image of the perfect family began to crack when her controversial videos displayed her strict parenting. In August of 2023, one of Ruby’s children, malnourished with duct tape and wounds on his wrists and ankles, escaped the home of Franke’s friend and business partner, Jodi Hildebrandt, and asked a neighbor for help.
A new “20/20,” with reporting from “Nightline” co-anchor Juju Chang, unravels the unimaginable abuse at the hands of Ruby and Jodi, told through never-before-seen body camera video, recorded calls, and Ruby’s own journal detailing the horrific abuse.”
An alternate description tells us, “20/20′ INVESTIGATES RUBY FRANKE – THE POPULAR YOUTUBE VLOGGER CHARGED WITH CHILD ABUSE, FEATURING EXCLUSIVE BODY CAMERA FOOTAGE, INTERROGATION TAPES, RECORDED PHONE CALLS, AND RUBY’S PERSONAL JOURNAL.”
ABC’s press release confirmed that 20/20 is brand new again tonight, March 22, 2024, and it will hit the air, starting at approximately 8 pm central standard time. It will be another 2-hour event. So, expect it to wrap up at 10 pm central standard time.
