The Voice May 7, 2024 Eliminated Nadege, Zoe Levert & L. Rodgers. Top 9 Revealed (Recap)
Hey, “The Voice” fans. Tonight, May 7, 2024, another new episode of The Voice’s current season 25 did indeed hit the air. This one was the results episode for all the performances that took place in last night’s episode. When it was all said and done, we found out who made it into the top 9.
Tonight’s episode kicked off with coach/judge Reba McEntire hitting the stage to sing her new song titled, “I Can’t.” After that, host Carson Daly got right down to business by revealing that contestants Asher HaVon, Maddi Jane and Nathan Chester are all safe this week and through the top 9.
Next, Carson revealed that Madison Curbelo and Josh Sanders are also safe this week. After that, coach/judge John Legend hit the stage to sing one of his hit songs “Ordinary People.”
Next, host Carson Daly got right back to business and revealed that contestants Bryan Olesen, Serenity Arce, Karen Waldrup are all safe this week and through to the top 9. That means that L. Rodgers, Tae Lewis, Zoe Levert and Nadege landed in the bottom four for America’s vote. So, they had to perform another song for a chance at an Instant Save by the viewing audience.
L. Rodgers from Team Reba was up first. She sang, “Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me.” Afterwards, Reba said, “That was enough and more. You’ve got the power and soul.”
Nadege from Team Chance The Rapper sang, “Smooth Operator.” Afterwards, John said, “That was beautiful. That’s your zone.” Chance said, “It was the perfect song choice.”
Zoe Levert from Team Legend sang, “Slow Burn.” Afterwards, John said, “That was my favorite performance of yours. I liked your cracks and falsetto moments.”
Tae Lewis from Team Dan and Shay sang, “The Church On Cumberland Road.” Afterwards, Dan and Shay said, “We can hear it in your voice, see it in your eyes and see it in your soul that you want to be here.”
After all of that, host Carson Daly revealed that Tae Lewis received the most amount of votes for the Instant Save. So, he made it through to the top 9. That also sadly means that Nadege, Zoe Levert and L. Rodgers all got eliminated. How do you guys feel about that? Let us know in the comments section.
