New 20/20, May 17, 2024 Two Hour Episode Preview Revealed
Hey, “20/20” fans. We’re back on here to give you guys another new preview session. In this one, we’re going to take a look at what the next, new episode 28 of 20/20’s current season 46 will feature when it arrives tonight, May 17, 2024.
ABC put out an official press release for this new episode 28. So, we will certainly reference it for this preview session. Let’s get started.
First off, ABC let us know that this new episode 28 is officially labeled/titled, “The Unkindest Cut.” In tonight’s new episode 28, the 20/20 team is going to take a deep look at a story about a male, celebrity hairstylist named Fabio “Big Daddy” Sementilli.
He was found stabbed to death in his own house at the pool area. The investigators who worked this case, initially thought he might have just been robbed. However, upon further exploration, there was some DNA evidence found in his car, which led them to a very unlikely suspect.
ABC News correspondent Chris Connelly handled the reporting duties for this episode and case. It will feature a chilling description of what the killer said happened and more.
ABC’s official description for tonight’s new episode 28 of 20/20 season 46 reads like this, “In 2016, Fabio “Big Daddy” Sementilli was a beloved and sought-after hairstylist with a client roster that included Jennifer Lopez, Russell Crowe, Jackie Chan, Jennifer Love Hewitt and more.
When Sementilli was discovered lying lifeless on his family’s pool deck with multiple stab wounds to his neck and back, his family, friends and the hair-care industry were devastated. Initially, police suspected he had been a victim of a burglary gone wrong — until DNA found in his car led them to an unlikely suspect, who had attended Sementelli’s memorial service sporting an injury.
An all-new “20/20” includes exclusive new details on the case, including a chilling firsthand account of what the killer said happened. The program features reporting from ABC News correspondent Chris Connelly.”
ABC’s press release confirmed that 20/20 will indeed arrive with a new episode again tonight, May 17, 2024, starting at approximately 8 pm central standard time. It will be a 2-hour event. So, expect it to wrap up at 10 pm central standard time.
