New 48 Hours October 5 Episode Preview Reveals A Drug Overdose Scandal And More
Hey, “48 Hours” fans. We’re back in action to let you guys know that the CBS folks are delivering up another new episode of 48 Hours tonight, October 5, 2024. This one will be the 3rd installment of this current season 37, and we’ve got some new preview intel for it.
CBS put out an official press release for tonight’s new episode 3. So, we will certainly refer to it for this preview session. Let’s get to it.
First thing’s first is the official title. CBS let us know that it’s called, “The Depraved Heart Murder.” In this new episode 3, the 48 Hours team will take a deep look at a story about a Maryland woman named Sarah Harris. She had a dream of working in medicine before she was found dead on the floor of a house that she shared with her boyfriend Dr. James Ryan.
Ryan told the police that she died of a drug overdose. However, Sarah’s family believes Ryan had something to do with Sarah’s death. Contributor Nikki Battiste handled the reporting duties for this episode and case.
CBS’ official description for this new episode 3 of 48 Hours’ current season 37 reads like this, “Sarah Harris was a bright, young Maryland woman who dreamed of a career in medicine. On the morning of Jan. 26, 2022, she was found unresponsive on the floor of the home she shared with her boyfriend, Dr. James Ryan. Ryan told police it was an overdose, but Harris’ family believed he was responsible. Contributor Nikki Battiste and 48 HOURS report on Harris’ death and the investigation into what happened in “The Depraved Heart Murder.”
An alternate description tells us, “MARYLAND BEAUTY QUEEN DIES WITH DRUGS IN HER SYSTEM – HER DOCTOR BOYFRIEND SAYS IT WAS AN OVERDOSE – WAS IT SOMETHING MORE? 48 Hours” Reports in “The Depraved Heart Murder.”
Again, CBS’ press release confirmed that the next, new episode 3 of 48 Hours’ current season 37 is indeed scheduled to show up tonight, October 5, 2024 in the 9 pm central standard time slot. It will also be available for streaming on Paramount+. This episode will be a 1-hour event. So, expect it to wrap up at 10 pm central standard time.
