Big Brother October 13 Season 26 Winner Revealed In Finale Episode (Recap)

Hey, “Big Brother” fans. Tonight, October 13, 2024, the finale episode for Big Brother’s current season 26 did indeed air, and we finally found out who won this friggin thing at the end of it. Tonight’s new episode kicked off with footage of the first round of the final, 3-part HOH (Head Of Household) competition.

It was an endurance comp where they had to hold on for dear life while getting sprayed with all kinds of cold liquid. Makensy dropped first. So, it came down to Cam and Chelsie, and Chelsie won it to advance straight through to the 3rd round.

Next, they showed footage of the second round of the final, 3-part HOH competition between Cam and Makensy. It was a physical competition that required them to get certain pieces through a maze and then connect a couple of wires to something and ring a buzzer for the win. Makensy won it to face Chelsie in the 3rd round.

Makensy told the Diary Room aka the private cams that she’s up in the air about who to take to the final two. Chelsie told the private cams, “My head is telling me to take Cam because I have a better resume than him, but my heart is telling me to take Makensy because she does deserve to be there.”

After all of that, we got footage of the jury roundtable session with the 6 evicted jury members: Quinn, T’kor, Angela, Leah, Kimo and Rubina. Season 24 winner Taylor Hale hosted it. They said Makensy won a lot of comps, but they said Chelsie was very persuasive. However, they didn’t think Chelsie’s jury management was the best. T’Kor said, “Cam played the game I wanted to play.”

After that, Chelsie and Makensy played the 3rd round of final, 3-part HOH competition. It was a mental competition that featured questions about the previous evicted houseguests. Makensy won it to claim the final HOH crown.

Next, Cam and Chelsie pitched their final plea speeches to Makensy. Then, Makensy decided to take Chelsie to the final two, stating she’s making her decision based off loyalty and she’s not afraid to face someone strong in the final two. So, Cam was evicted and joined the rest of the jury.

Cam gave his exit interview with host Julie Chen-Moonves. Cam told Julie, “I’m not really surprised I got evicted. They both deserved to be in the final two, but it does still suck to get evicted. It’s going to be tough for Makensy facing Chelsie in the final two. She’s a preacher and good speaker. It sucked to lose so many competitions. I would’ve always taken Chelsie to the final two.”

Next, Makensy and Chelsie answered questions from the 7 jury members. Chelsie said, “I was aware of a lot of alliances, but I knew when to say something and when not to say something.” Makensy said, “What benefited my game the most was to get Leah out because she won a lot of competitions.”

Chelsie said, “The best move I made was to get Makensy to use the veto on Angela, and I got her to nominate Leah.” Chelsie said, “I was strategic, social and skillful. I always made sure there was a bigger target than me. I won when I wanted to.”

Makensy said, “I was a comp beast. I took out Tucker and voted to send him home. I had a target on my back at the beginning.” Chelsie said,”My social game was great. I did not have to survive the block. My game was multi-faceted. Makensy played a great game, but I had more.”

Next, Makensy and Chelsie gave their final plea speech to the jury. Chelsie said, “I literally started from the bottom, and I’m here. I positioned myself so I didn’t have to win a ton of competitions, and I still got 6 wins. I was smart, social and skillful. I didn’t play hard. I played smart.”

Makensy said, “I had a lot of things I had to overcome. I took out huge competitors. I was loyal and kind. I had Chelsie’s back and that helped me get here.” After all of that, the jury members casts their votes for the winner.

Next, the first six evicted houseguests: Matt, Lisa, Kenney, Cedric, Brooklyn, Tucker and Joseph got a segment. Joseph mentioned that he faced a lot of damage from the Florida hurricanes. So, that was a sad moment of condolences.

Cedric said,”This season was a roller coaster of backstabbing and craziness.” Tucker apologized to Cedric after acknowledging that Cedric really did tell him not to use the veto on Angela early in the game. Lisa had nice words for Chelsie’s game. Tucker gave Rubina some flowers and still expressed interest in dating her. She reciprocated that interest. Makensy and Matt agreed that they still want to talk about possibly dating each other.

Matt told Angela, “I forgive you, and I love everyone of ya’ll.” Matt gave Angela a hug. Angela said of Matt, “I still stand by how I felt, but I do think you’re a great guy.” Brooklyn apologized to Angela for eating her meat and cheese early in the season.

Finally, host Julie Chen-Moonves revealed the votes for the winner of this season. Quinn, Leah, T’kor, Angela, Kimo, Rubina and Cam all voted for Chelsie. So, by a unanimous vote of 7-0, Chelsie won Big Brother season 26 tonight, and the $750,000 dollar grand prize!

Makensy won $75,000 dollars for the runner-up spot. Tucker won America’s Favorite Houseguest and took home $50,000 dollars for it.
