New Law & Order November 28 & December 5 Episode 9 Delayed. Not Airing For A While
Hey, “Law & Order” fans. Unfortunately, we have some super bad news for you guys in this report. It turns out that the last episode 8, which aired last Thursday night, November 21, 2024 was indeed the Fall finale episode of this current season 24. That means NBC isn’t airing the next, new episode 9 tonight, November 28, 2024 and for many more weeks to come.
Yep, according to one of our sources, NBC doesn’t plan to air the new episode 9 until Thursday night, January 16, 2025 in its usual, 7 pm central standard time slot. So, certainly be sure to remember that very important date and time if you can.
In the meantime, we did track down what NBC is airing in place of Law & Order tonight and next Thursday night. According to the TV guide listings, NBC is going to provide LIVE coverage of an NFL football game tonight. It’ll kick off with an NFL highlights special in the 7 pm central standard time slot.
NBC’s official description for the LIVE, NFL Highlights show reads like this, “Football Night in America Live. Host Maria Taylor, Hall of Fame head coach Tony Dungy, former NFL head coach Jason Garrett, former NFL quarterback Chris Simms and NFL insider Mike Florio recap the day’s NFL highlights. Jac Collinsworth and Rodney Harrison contribute on-site.”
In the 7:15 pm time slot, NBC will start their LIVE coverage of the NFL football game in the 7:15 pm central standard time slot. NBC’s description for it reads like this, “NFL Football Miami Dolphins at Green Bay Packers Live.
The Dolphins hit the road for a Thanksgiving night game against the Packers. Miami has won three in a row. Green Bay has won six of its past seven after hammering San Francisco 38-10. The Pack are 15-20-2 on the holiday, while the Fins are 5-2.”
On December 5, 2025, NBC is going to air an old Christmas special titled, “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” in the 7 pm central time slot. NBC’s description for it reads like this, “Boris Karloff narrates an animated tale about the lonely and heartless title character who decides to dress up as Santa and steal the Christmas decorations, gifts and feast from the people of Whoville.”
In the 7:30 pm central time slot, NBC is going to air another old Christmas special titled,”Frosty the Snowman.” NBC’s official description for it reads like this, “An animated adaptation of Romeo Muller’s story. Narrated by Jimmy Durante.”
After the December 5, 2025 date, you guys will need to check your local listings to see what NBC is serving up that night.
Again, it’s been unofficially confirmed that the next, new episode 9 of Law & Order’s current season 24 is scheduled to finally hit the air in its usual, 7 pm central standard time slot.
