New 20/20 November 29 & December 6 Episodes Delayed, Preempted. Not Airing
Hey, “20/20” fans. Unfortunately, we’re back on here with some pretty bad news to drop on you. It turns out that the ABC people are not airing a new episode of 20/20 tonight, November 29, 2024 and next Friday night, December 6, 2024. Yep, apparently, the ABC people have some other TV obligations to attend to the next two weeks.
We’re hearing from one of our sources that ABC is scheduled to finally serve up another new episode of 20/20 on Friday night, December 13, 2024 in its usual, 8 pm central standard time slot. So, certainly try to remember that very important date and time if you can.
We did find out why ABC isn’t airing a new episode of 20/20 tonight and next Friday night. According to the TV guide listings, the ABC people are clearing out their entire Friday night, primetime line up to deliver LIVE coverage for a college football game that features the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets vs. the Georgia Bulldogs.
ABC’s official description for their LIVE coverage of this college football game reads like this, “College Football. Georgia Tech at Georgia Live. The No. 7 Bulldogs (9-2) and Yellow Jackets (7-4) engage in another bout of Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate. Georgia has claimed six consecutive Governor’s Cups, with Georgia Tech’s last win in the head-to-head series coming in Athens, Ga., in 2016.”
Next Friday night, December 6, 2024, ABC is going to clear out their entire primetime line up again to provide LIVE coverage for another college football game. Their official description for it reads like this, “College Football. American Athletic Conference Championship: Teams TBA Live. All the action from NCAA college football.”
If any of you guys are also college football fans, you might still want to flip on ABC tonight and next Friday night to check out their LIVE coverage of those games. If you’re not interested in watching the LIVE college football coverage, and you only want to see brand new episodes of 20/20, you will certainly want to ditch ABC tonight and next Friday night, and check back on that December 13, 2024 date.
Again, it’s been confirmed that ABC is not airing new episodes of 20/20 tonight, November 29, 2024 and next Friday night, December 6, 2024. The next, new episode is unofficially scheduled to hit the air on Friday night, December 13, 2024 in its usual, 8 pm central standard time slot.
