New Grey’s Anatomy Season 14 Premiere Episodes 1 And 2 Official Descriptions Revealed By ABC
Hey, Grey’s Anatomy fans. It’s time to get real excited! ABC has finally released the official synopsis/spoiler teasers for their upcoming “Grey’s Anatomy” premiere episodes 1 and 2 of season 14. As previously reported, they’re airing these episodes back to back on the same night as a big two-hour season premiere.
It definitely sounds interesting as Amelia will face a huge conflict situation. Bailey has to fix major damages to the hospital. Meredith faces some really hard times in regards to Owen’s sister. A very startling discovery gets made by Andrew’s sister and much, much more!
In this session, we’re going to start off with the synopsis for the first episode which is labeled, “Break Down The House.” They started off their press release spoilers by putting in all caps, “THE DOCTORS RALLY AROUND OWEN AND HIS SISTER WHILE BAILEY WORKS TO REBUILD GREY SLOAN MEMORIAL AFTER THE FIRE, ON ABC’S ‘GREY’S ANATOMY.’”
Next, they gave us the main description which starts off with a Meredith storyline. They tell us that she and the team will be heavily focused on helping Owen’s sister after her shocking return. Will they be able to give her the help she needs? What kind of help will she be needing? That’s the huge questions for this particular plotline. It does sound like it will give us some interesting scenes right from the jump.
Next, they revealed that Amelia will be involved in some pretty intense stuff. They say that she will face a conflict over a patient. What is this conflict all about? That’s the major question for this storyline. For obvious reasons, they didn’t reveal that information. We’ll have to wait until the episode airs to see what that’s all about.
In this third teaser, they tell us that Bailey will definitely have her plate full trying to fix up the hospital. They said she will be forced to give Grey Sloan a facelift after the big fire. And to cap things off for the first episode, they revealed that we’re going to be introduced to a slew of new faces.
What’s even more interesting is they say these new people will definitely spice things up around the hospital. What spicy things will they deliver? That’s the burning question that we’ll be looking to see get answered as the new season rolls along. There’s no doubt about that.
This first episode is scheduled to air at 7 pm central standard time on ABC. It will be immediately followed by this second episode which they have named, “Get Off On The Pain.” In this second installment, we’re going to see some more Meredith drama. They tell us that she will be in a pretty bad spot.
Apparently, she’s going to run into some problems with finding a good plan for Owen’s sister. The obvious big question here is what problems will she encounter? Unfortunately, that’s another piece of important information that they decided to save for the episode. So, we’ll have to wait around to find out what’s the deal with that as well.
Next up. We’ll be seeing some action from Jo. It turns out that she’s going to do something pretty startling as they tell us that she will make a surprising choice in regards to Alex! What does this shocking choice entail? That’s another major question that we’ll be looking to see get answered in this episode. It definitely sounds intriguing to say the very least.
They gave us one last teaser scoop. It involves Andrew Deluca’s sister Dr. Carina DeLuca. Apparently, she will have already made her new arrival by at least this second episode. She is going to be involved in some controversial research that will already lead to what they’re describing as being a, “shocking discovery!”
We definitely want to know what this shocking discovery will be! It sounds very serious. They definitely kept this part of the description very vague. So, this is yet another little twist that we’ll have to wait to find out.
This second episode is scheduled to air in the 8pm central standard time slot on Thursday night, September 28,2017 on ABC.
ABC’s press release for these episodes also revealed a couple of important guest stars that we’ll see in action. They are: Kim Raver as Dr. Teddy Altman, Abigail Spencer as Owen’s sister Megan Hunt and previously mentioned Stefania Spampinato as Andrew Deluca’s sister Carina DeLuca.
The press release also let us know who wrote these wonderful episodes. Episode one’s “Break Down the House” was written by Krista Vernoff and it was directed by Debbie Allen.
Episode two’s “Get off on the Pain” was also written by Krista Vernoff and it was directed by Kevin McKidd who also stars in the show as character Owen Hunt.
Alright guys. So, that certainly sounds like that will be an eventful two hours to kick off the brand new season 14. That’s all the information we have on it. Additionally, ABC did reveal some promo pics which we’ll be posting on our official Grey’s Anatomy Facebook page in the next few days.
