Another ‘Bold And The Beautiful’ Female Character Has Left The Show
Hey guys. We’ve got some possible bad news for you guys. How bad it is depends on how much you actually care. We got this news from the people over at Soapcentral.com. It turns out that actress Ashleigh Brewer who portrays character Ivy Forrester (above right) on the show has decided to call it quits for now. So, we won’t be seeing anymore of those very rare Quinn and Ivy talks anymore.
I think they showed them probably once or twice every month or something like that. She definitely wasn’t getting a lot of screentime at all. Ashleigh is definitely looking for bigger and better acting opportunities and wants to make sure she’s totally available to accept some other roles. She also got advice from her fellow Australian actress friend Margot Robbie to go ahead and make the plunge of quitting “The Bold And The Beautiful.”
Ashleigh recently did an interview with the Herald Sun about her bold move to leave “The Bold And The Beautiful”. She told them, “I’m doing the acting thing in LA, onwards and upwards. It’s definitely time for me, and I’ve had Margot encouraging me for so long saying just leave it and see what happens. So, I’m throwing caution to the wind now and keeping myself open to opportunities. I’ve been doing soaps for ten years now. My exit is daunting but so exciting.”
Ashleigh has portrayed the Ivy Forrester character since 2014. Before landing her Bold And The Beautiful Ivy Forrester gig, Ashleigh played character Kate Ramsay on a popular Australian soap opera called, “Neighbors” with Margot Robbie. That show aired from 2008 to 2011. According to her IMDB page, Ashleigh already does have some future projects that are currently in the pipeline for 2018.
She’s going to be in a production titled, “At The Edge Of Night.” In it, she will play a character named Alexis. Ashleigh will also be in a new TV Movie called, “My Dinner With Herve.” In it, she will play a character named Camillie Hagen.
So, it’s good to see that Ashleigh does have some new jobs already. We do wish her the best of luck. It’s not yet known if the Bold And The Beautiful production will attempt to recast the Ivy Forrester role or just completely write her off the show for now. If we had to guess, I would say that they would probably just write her off since she was barely seen anyways. I mean if I didn’t know any better, I would have assumed she was already written off. That’s how much they actually showed her.

We do wish Ashleigh the best in her future endeavors. It’s good to see that she already has some new acting jobs in the works. Maybe we’ll end up seeing her in some big movies like her former Neighbors castmate Margot Robbie. Only time will tell.
In related news, The Boild And The Beautiful production team has gotten former Thomas Forrester actor Pierson Fode to come back on to reprise his coveted role. As we previously reported, he told Soap Opera Digest that he actually wasn’t planning on returning so soon, but the storyline was just too good and exciting for him to resist.
He stated, “This has been a fun story to come back for. When Bradley Bell, [executive producer/head writer] pitched it to me, I was super-excited about it!” As far as we know right now, this will be a short-term return for the Thomas Forrester character.
The last time we saw him in action was way back on Wednesday, September 13, 2017. At that time, he told Sally he needed to be with Caroline and his son Douglas despite having much love for Sally. Currently, Thomas’ first return onscreen airdate is set for the Friday,March 9, 2018 episode. So, get ready to see him return pretty soon.
Unfortunately, there are still no official details available for what Thomas will be doing when he returns. The only thing we know is that Thomas’ portrayer Pierson thinks it’ll be fun and exciting. We just have to hope he’s right. At first, we thought his return might have something to do with Sally. It still could, but we’re not so sure anymore.
It’s confirmed that Sally didn’t actually shoot Bill in this past Friday’s crazy scene. We were thinking if Sally had shot Bill that maybe Thomas was coming back to see her or something due to the urgency of the situation. But since she didn’t shoot Bill, it’s possible that Thomas could be returning for some other reasons. Again, we have no idea what they could be. For now, we’ll just have to wait and see. Tomorrow’s new Monday, February 26,2018 episode will feature more from that crazy Sally and Bill gun scene. Needless to say, Bill will be furious at Sally for picking up that gun and firing it! We’re also going to see Wyatt and Katie prepare to tell Bill they’re engaged. Judging from the new weekly preview clip, that situation isn’t going to turn out well for Wyatt and Katie.
