New Big Brother Season 20 Power Of Veto Winner Revealed For July 22, 2018
Happy Sunday Big Brother fans. As previously reported, Sam won the HOH this past Thursday night, June 19, 2018. After that, she went ahead and nominated Haleigh and Kaitlyn for what she describes as personal reasons. Apparently, Sam thinks Haleigh and Kaitlyn aren’t conservative enough for her liking, but that’s another story for another time.
The nomination of Kaitlyn and Haleigh took place this past Friday, June 20, 2018 at the nomination ceremony. Then the Power Of Veto competition was played yesterday evening, July 21, 2018. Faysal, JC and Angie were randomly selected from a draw to play for veto. They joined reigning HOH Sam and her two nominees Haleigh and Kaitlyn.
After all was said and done, it was Faysal who emerged the winner of this most recent Power Of Veto competition! Ironically, it turns out that he was the only who didn’t want to win it. Now, he’s faced with the pressure of saving Haleigh or Kaitlyn who he has been working with in some capacity.
We’re hearing from Big Brother Network that Faysal doesn’t want to use it at all. However, Angie has been seen trying to get him to use it so she can possibly push for Brett to get nominated as a replacement. Apparently, she’s still very angry at him for lying about her during the live eviction show. We know for a fact that this would not be a wise plan for Angie to pursue because Sam has said she would nominate Angie as the replacement if Haleigh or Kaitlyn were taken off the block.
Obviously, Angie doesn’t know this or else she would just shut up about it. The big POV Ceremony is scheduled to take place sometime tomorrow, July 23, 2018. After it’s done, we’ll have full confirmation of whether or not Kaitlyn and Haleigh will remain on the block this week.
What do you guys think about Faysal winning the POV this week? Do you like it? Do you hate it? Or do you just not care one way or the other? Let us know in the Facebook comments.
Some interesting conversations took place after the POV competition. At around 5:55 pm pacific time yesterday, July 21, 2018, Angie told Faysal to go talk with Sam about the veto. She warned him,”If Sam won’t tell you who is going up as the renom, you should not use it.”
At around 6 pm, Kaitlyn reminded Faysal that he promised he would save her if he won veto. Also, she promised him that she does not have one of the special powers.
At around 6:05 pm, Angie, Bayleigh, JC, and Haleigh talked about whether or not they could possibly get Brett to be put up as a replacement nominee if Faysal used the veto.
At around 6:20 pm, JC told Haleigh, “You’ll be safe and this would be the first unanimous vote if you stay on the block against Kaitlyn.” However, Haleigh didn’t understand why she needs to be the one to sit on the block.
At around 6:50 pm, Tyler and JC talked about how Angie might be the replacement nomination if the veto is used. JC told Tyler,”Kaitlyn needs to be the one to go.” Tyler said, “I won’t stand in the way of that.”
At around 7:20 pm, Kaitlyn got very upset after she learned that Faysal promised both her and Haleigh he would use the veto on them. Kaitlyn tried to say she threw the comp for him, but Faysal denied that suggestion.
At around 7:35 pm, Kaitlyn storms off to the DR saying she wants to ask to quit! At around 7:50 pm, Faysal promised Bayleigh that she would not be the replacement nominee if he used the veto. Bayleigh told Faysal, “Save Haleigh if that’s true. Kaitlyn has been playing you for a fool and doing wrong by you the whole game. So, I don’t understand why you’re helping her. Kaitlyn would pick Tyler over you.”
At around 8:15 pm, Faysal told Haleigh,”I’m going to save you, but don’t tell anyone.” At around 8:55 pm, Kaitlyn told Tyler and Kaycee, “If Faysal uses the Veto on Haleigh, and I somehow stay, I’m going after Faysal for revenge.”
At around 10:15 pm, Kaitlyn tried to plead with Faysal again to use the veto on her. She told him her family is struggling .Faysal said, “When Swaggy made the same plea, she said they couldn’t base game decisions on that.”
At around 11:15 pm, Tyler told Angela and Brett, “Sam might not renom Angie after all since she wants to make sure Kaitlyn gets voted out this week.”
So, it looks like Haleigh might get pulled off the block this week with Faysal’s veto. But whatever the case, it still seems like Kaitlyn will be the one to get voted out. Unfortunately, Kaitlyn is going to have another chance to re-enter the house due to Sam’s special power app power automatically being used on this week’s evicted houseguests.
Kaitlyn should’ve gotten ousted last week, but Scottie just had to go after Winston and Brett. Oh well. As always, You guys can view the Big Brother live feeds yourself FREE for one week over at CBS by Clicking Here.
