New Grey’s Anatomy Season 15 Is Bringing On A New Male Character For A Pretty Major Role
Happy Wednesday “Grey’s Anatomy” fans. Today, we’ve got a brand new report to share with you guys in reference to the new, upcoming 15th season of your favorite show. It turns out that a new casting development has occurred that will be bringing a new, handsome doctor into the mix!
According to a new report from the folks over at TV Line , the show’s production team has hired actor Chris Carmack to come on and play a recurring character who will be an orthopedic surgeon at Grey Sloan Memorial hospital. He will also have the nickname “ortho god” which I suppose means he’s definitely mastered his craft. You guys can view photos of Chris Carmack on his official IMDB page by Clicking Here.
Unfortunately, there are no other details available for this new character. We don’t have a name for him yet or any other details about his life. Hopefully, something new might pop up about him in the not-to-distant future.
It’s believed that since season 15 was previously revealed to have a “Season Of Love” theme that this new doctor might experience some romance during his stint on the show. However long that may be. We’ll see how that works out.
Let’s go ahead and get a little background information on Chris Carmack. According to his official IMDB page, he was born in 1980. He has quite an extensive acting resume that dates back to the year 2000.
His acting resume includes roles in: Strangers With Candy tv show, Bring It On Again movie, The Last Ride tv movie, The O.C. tv show, Smallville tv show, Candy Paint(short), Jake In Progress tv show, Beach Girls tv mini series, Lovewrecked, Related tv show, Just My Luck, Suburban Girl, CSI: Miami tv show, Higglytown Heroes tv show, Desperate Housewives tv show, CSI:NY tv show.

This is the second big casting related news for Grey’s Anatomy’s 15th season. The first one revealed that actress Kim Raver has been promoted to a full time regular again as character Doctor Teddy Altman. The last time we saw Teddy in action was in the season 14 season finale when she showed back up on the scene. She helped a frantic Bailey out with an emergency surgery situation and also revealed that she’s preggers. So, that’ll be a pretty interesting storyline for the new season.
Also as previously reported, ABC finally announced when the new 15th season of Grey’s Anatomy is supposed to start. It’s currently scheduled to debut with another two hour premiere show on Thursday night, September 27, 2018 in the 7 pm to 9 pm central time slot. After that, it will air in the 7 pm to 8 pm time slot just like last season. That means you guys won’t have to worry about switching up your viewing schedules which should be pretty convenient.
Another important thing to make note of for the new 15th season is that Camilla Luddington who plays character Jo Wilson on the show, recently revealed that we can expect season 15 to definitely start up where season 14 left off. She told TV Line that there won’t be a large time jump in the storyline. Camilla also revealed that her MD will make progress in her ongoing search for her “specialty.”
Alright guys. That’s all the new season 15 updates we have right now, but definitely stay tuned because we’re sure some new stuff will be popping up out of the woodworks since filming started in late July 2018.
