‘Yellowstone’ Season 3, August 23, 2020 Episode 10 Is The Finale. Renewed For Season 4
Hey, “Yellowstone” fans. We are back in action with a new article for you guys. We’ve got some great news to share with you and not-so-great news. We’ll start off with the not-so-great news.
Unfortunately, tonight’s episode 10 of Yellowstone’s current season 3 is the finale episode. That means this 3rd season will come to a close tonight, and you won’t see any more new episodes for quite some time.
The good news is that you guys will see new episodes of Yellowstone at some point in the future because Paramount network has indeed renewed Yellowstone for a brand new season 4! That’s right, guys. You can officially expect Yellowstone to return with another set of brand new episodes when the new season 4 arrives.
According to the folks over at TV Line, Paramount network actually renewed Yellowstone way before its third season even started. The season 4 renewal was announced way back in February 2020. So, Paramount network certainly has a lot of confidence in Yellowstone.
We’re about to find out why too. We’ve got the LIVE ratings and viewership numbers for season 3 of Yellowstone.
It was able to average a very impressive 3.766 million LIVE viewers per episode and a 0.73 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics.
The last episode 9, which aired on August 16, 2020, brought in 3.994 million LIVE viewers and 0.73 ratings score.
The most-watched episode was the premiere episode 1 with 4.232 million LIVE viewers. The least-watched episode was episode 4 with 3.549 million LIVE viewers.
The highest-rated episode was the premiere episode 1 with a 0.89 ratings score. The lowest-rated episode was episode 8 with a 0.68 ratings score.
Folks, those numbers look like numbers you would see on one the big three networks like ABC, CBS and NBC. So, that is extremely impressive for a cable network series.
Judging from that, we can certainly see why Paramount network didn’t hesitate to renew Yellowstone for a new season 4. We wouldn’t be surprised if they do the same thing for season 5 when it comes time to make that decision.
It is currently unknown how many episodes season 4 will feature. It will most likely feature 10 episodes again. We’ll have to wait and see.
We were able to track some info about when they’re supposed to start filming the new season 4. According to a recent report from the folks over at Newsweek, they have already started.
The show’s creator and screenwriter Taylor Sheridan recently told the press they plan to start in mid-August 2020 stating, “We’re supposed to start mid-August, and we’re putting that together as best we can.
I’m fortunate that this show shoots on a ranch in Montana. We’re going to shoot exclusively there this year, or in and around it. So we’ve got the crew and the cast up there, and it’s in an area of the state that has no active cases now, and everyone will just stay there for the duration.”
If they can stay on track with the filming, you guys can expect to see the brand new season 4 of Yellowstone hit the airwaves in the Summer 2021.
Alright guys. That’s all we’ve got for this latest “Yellowstone” TV show report, but definitely stay tuned for more.
