Blue Bloods Season 13 March 17, 2023 Episode 16 Delayed. Not Airing For A While
Hey, “Blue Bloods” fans. Unfortunately, it’s one of those times again where we have to tell you something bad. Yep, it turns out that CBS will not be giving you the next, new episode 16 of Blue Bloods’ current season 13 tonight, March 17, 2023 and next Friday night, March 24, 2023.
That’s right, guys. It’s been confirmed by CBS that Blue Bloods is currently being delayed for 2 weeks. CBS doesn’t plan to air the new episode 16 until Friday night, March 31, 2023. It will show up in its usual, 9 pm central standard time slot on that night. So, certainly look for it on that day.
For now, CBS’ Friday night, primetime slots will consist of their LIVE coverage of the 2023 NCAA Men’s College Basketball Championships. Tonight, they’re airing first round coverage of the game featuring the Montana State Bobcats versus the Kansas State Wildcats.
CBS’ official description for tonight’s first round coverage of the NCAA Championships Basketball game reads like this,”2023 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. First Round: Montana State vs. Kansas State LIVE. The No. 3 Wildcats (23-9) play the No. 14 Bobcats (25-9) in the NCAA Tournament’s round of 64. Montana State is 17-2 in 2023 after capturing a second straight Big Sky title. Kansas State targets its first tourney win since an Elite Eight run in 2018.”
Next Friday night, March 24, 2023, CBS will still be covering the 2023 NCAA Men’s Basketball Championships. During this time, they’re going to air one of the Regional Semifinal rounds. They’re official description for it reads like this, “2023 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. Regional Semifinal: Teams TBA LIVE. College basketball teams vie for the national championship.”
If any of you guys like watching college basketball action, you might still want to hang in there with CBS during this two-week delay period. If you absolutely don’t like college basketball and only want the new Blue Bloods episodes, you will certainly want to skip out on CBS tonight and next Friday night without any doubt.

Blue Bloods season 13 is currently averaging 6.026 million LIVE viewers per episode, and a 0.40 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics. The most recent episode 15 , which aired last Friday night, March 10,2023, drew in 5.743 million LIVE viewers, and a 0.33 ratings core.
Again, CBS confirmed that the next, new episode 16 of Blue Bloods’ current season 13 is scheduled to finally hit the air on Friday night, March 31, 2023 in its usual, 9 pm central standard time slot. It will also be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.
