Big Brother October 19, 2023 Evicted Cory Wurtenberger (Recap)
Hey, “Big Brother” fans. Tonight, October 19, 2023, another new, LIVE eviction episode for Big Brother’s current season 25 did indeed air, and another houseguest got voted off and sent to the jury house at the end of it.
Tonight’s new, LIVE eviction episode kicked off with footage of the POV ceremony. Blue used her veto to save herself. Jag used his veto to save Felicia. Jag had to put up some replacement nominees. So, he threw America and Cory on the block to be the final nominees for this week. They were heavily blindsided by it too, especially America. She immediately started crying when it was over.
Jag told the private cams aka The Diary Room, “We just started hearing too many negative things about Cory and America. So, we had to move up the timeline on getting them out.” Cory told the private cams, “I can’t blame Jag and Matt for putting us up. I would’ve put them up next week.”
America told the private cams, “I don’t want to be here without Cory.” Blue told the private cams,”It’s about time Cory and America felt some hell in this house. I can be their tour guide this week.”
Cory asked Jag why he put them up. Before Jag could get the words out, America stormed in and shouted at Jag,”Why did you put us up?!” Jag told America,”I heard conversations of you trying to get other people to target me and Matt.”
Jag told the private cams, “Cory and America weren’t even on my radar, but America tried to pull the trigger on us too soon.” Apparently, America said some things to Blue to try and get her to want to target Matt and Jag. Then, Blue went back to Matt and Jag and ratted out America, which ultimately led to Jag deciding to backdoor America and Cory.
Cirie told the private cams, “I’ve been waiting for the war to erupt between these duos. Now, I can just sit back and sneak to the finals.” Cirie and Felicia both agreed that was the game plan for them. America was seen telling Jag,”Literally,f$%ck off” when he tried to ask her when she wanted to talk.
America told Cory, “This is my fault for being sloppy with my words to Blue.” America told the private cams, “Cory is such a good player. He’s always careful with his words.”
America and Blue talked. America told the private cams, “It wasn’t cool for Blue to go and rat me out.” She also said that to Blue. Blue told America,”I’m sorry you feel betrayed, but I was just trying to fight for my life in this game. I’m sorry it was at you and Cory’s expense.” Blue told the private cams, “America is not doing a good job campaigning to get my vote.”
Cory and Blue talked. He told Blue he would target Matt and Jag if he stays. Blue told the private cams,”Cory made some good points.” Blue told Cory,”I do believe you. I’m not shutting your idea down. I’m really not.”
Cory talked with Felicia and Cirie and pitched that he’s going after Matt and Jag if he stays. Cirie told the private cams that she thinks Cory has a better shot at winning HOH to get Jag and Matt out. Blue, Cirie and Felicia all considered keeping Cory so he could possibly help get rid of Jag and Matt for them. They thought he had a better shot at winning competitions than America.
After all of that footage was shown, the two eviction nominees Cory and America gave their plea speeches. Then, the rest of the houseguests minus the reigning HOH Jag cast their votes to evict. Matt, Bowie, Cirie, Felicia and Blue all voted to evict Cory. No one voted to evict America. So, by a unanimous vote of 5-0, Cory was indeed evicted from the Big Brother season 25 house tonight.
Cory gave his exit interview with host Julie Chen-Moonves. During it, Cory told Julie, “It was the right move for Jag to put us up. I would’ve put them up. I always did feel like we could be in danger. So, I wasn’t too surprised when we went up.
The votes just weren’t there for me this week. Blue , Cirie and Felicia have been looking to target me for a while. This was not America’s fault. I had been a target for weeks now. I can’t wait to spend more time with America after the show. She’s amazing.”
