48 Hours July 6, 2024 Episode Not New. It’s A Repeat. Preview Revealed
Hey, “48 Hours” fans. We’re back to let you know that the CBS people will indeed dish up another repeat episode of 48 Hours tonight, July 6, 2024 since 48 Hours is in its offseason. Some of you guys might have missed this repeat episode when it originally aired. So, we do have some preview information for it.
CBS served up a fresh press release for this repeat episode. So, we’re going to take a look at it right now. Let’s get to it.
This repeat episode is officially named/titled, “Blood In The Sand.” It originally aired way, way back on April 30, 2016. In this repeat episode, the 48 Hours team took a deep look at story about two teenage girls who were murdered in a similar way on a California beach. Their murders happened 6 years apart, and DNA evidence from one of them helped the investigators finally track down the suspect who was apparently working with the police department.
CBS’ official description for this repeat episode of 48 Hours reads like this, “The murders of two teenage girls on the same California beach six years apart shocked residents around San Diego when it happened. Was there a serial killer targeting teenage girls, or was there a copycat?
What DNA uncovered in the case decades later would stun them a second time. 48 HOURS reports on the two murders, the incredible similarities in the cases and the new technology that would lead police to investigate one of their own in an encore of “Blood in the Sand.”
Again, CBS’ press release confirmed that 48 Hours is showing up with another repeat episode tonight, July 6, 2024, starting at approximately 9 pm central standard time. It will also be available for streaming on Paramount+. This episode will be a 1-hour event. So, expect it to wrap up at 10 pm central standard time.
