Dateline NBC July 26 & August 2 & 9, 2024 Episodes Delayed. Not Airing
Hey, “Dateline NBC” fans. Unfortunately, we’ve got some really bad news for you guys in this article because NBC is putting Dateline NBC on the back burner for a pretty good while due to some other TV obligations they have committed to. So, you won’t get an episode of Dateline NBC tonight, July 26, 2024, next Friday night August 2, 2024 and Friday night, August 9, 2024.
Yep, according to one of our sources, NBC isn’t scheduled to air another episode of Dateline NBC until Friday night, August 16, 2024 in its usual, 8 pm central standard time slot. We’re not sure if that one will be a repeat episode or a new one. We’ll have to wait until NBC puts out a press release for it, but definitely try and remember that very important date and time if you can.
So, here is why NBC has put Dateline NBC on the back burner for the next three weeks. According to the TV guide listings, NBC has cleared up a lot of their time slots to provide LIVE coverage of the 2024 Summer Olympic Games over in Paris, France.
NBC’s official description for tonight’s LIVE coverage of the 2024 Summer Olympic games reads like this, “Primetime in Paris: The Olympics. Opening Ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics LIVE. Experience the Opening Ceremony like never before, with classic Parisian splendor and style, a star-studded cast of performers, and a spectacular parade of athletes in boats down the River Seine, past the city’s most majestic landmarks.” This section of coverage will last from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm central standard time.
NBC’s official description for their next Friday night, August 2, 2024 Summer Olympic Game coverage reads like this,” Primetime in Paris: The Olympics. Swimming, Track and Field, Gymnastics: Primetime in Paris LIVE. Medals are awarded in swimming, and track and field, including the women’s 800m freestyle and women’s 100m. Plus, the women’s vault final in gymnastics.” This section of coverage will last from 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm central standard time.
You guys will have to check your local listings to see what NBC is covering on Friday night, August 9, 2024. If any of you guys are fans of the Olympic games, you might still want to flip on NBC on Friday nights during this three week delay period. If not, you will certainly want to make some other plans for Friday nights until that August 16, 2024 date rolls around.
Again, one of our sources confirmed that NBC will finally be back with another episode of Dateline NBC on Friday night, August 16, 2024 in its usual, 8 pm central standard time slot.
