Dancing With The Stars October 29 Eliminated Jenn Tran & Sasha Farber (Recap)
Hey, “Dancing With The Stars” fans. Tonight, October 29, 2024, another new results/performances episode for Dancing With The Stars’ current season 33 did indeed hit the air, and we saw another unlucky couple get the boot at the end.
The theme for tonight’s new episode was “Halloween Nightmares.” All the judges: Bruno Tonioli, Carrie Ann Inaba and Derek Hough were on hand once again.
Ilona Maher and Alan Bersten kicked off tonight’s performances with a Tango number. Afterwards, Bruno said, “I could see your hard work, especially on your frame, but you need to refine the footwork.” Carrie Ann said, “I’m seeing growth. Everything is a little bit better. You lost balance a couple of times, though.” Derek said, “Your footwork needs work.” Carrie Ann gave Ilona an 8 score, Derek an 8, Bruno an 8 for a total of 24 points out of a possible 30 points.
Dwight Howard and Daniella Karagach served up a Contemporary number. Afterwards, Carrie Ann said,”You left nothing. You went all in, and not just on the lifts.” Derek said,”This performance was creepy in the best possible way. It was a moment.” Bruno said, “The danger and fear were tangible. You were more determined and focused than ever. Everything was designed and implemented to perfection.” Carrie Ann gave Dwight and Daniella a 10 score, Derek a 9, Bruno a 9 for a total of 28 points.
Danny Amendola and Witney Carson did an Argentine Tango routine. Afterwards, Derek said,”This performance was fantastic. Every lift felt safe and supportive, but your shoulders got a little hunched over at times.” Bruno said, “This performance was intoxicating. You were trying to do the heel leads, and you missed a couple.” Carrie Ann said,”You were on point with your form.” Carrie Ann gave Danny and Witney a 10 score, Derek a 9, Bruno a 9 for a total of 28 points.
Jenn Tran and Sasha Farber danced a Contemporary number. Afterwards, Bruno said, “You were on top of the dance, and you didn’t lose control.” Carrie Ann said,”You truly earned whatever high score you’re going to get.” Derek said, “I liked your character work. Well done.” Carrie Ann gave Jenn and Sasha a 10 score, Derek a 9, Bruno a 9 for a total of 28 points.
Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson performed an Argentine Tango. Afterwards, Derek said,”You’re always in control. There was a lot of content, but there were one or two moments where the lifts were unstable.” Bruno said, “This performance was a spine-chilling thriller of a tango with good story woven into the choreography.” Carrie Ann said, “You’ve been consistent, but you took it up a notch by embracing your character so fully.” Carrie Ann gave Joey and Jenna a 10 score, Derek a 9, Bruno a 10 for a total of 29 points.
Stephen Nedoroscik and Rylee Arnold performed a Contemporary dance. Afterwards, Carrie Ann said, “This was the best dance of the night.” Derek said, “I like to see you in darker dramatic roles.” Bruno said,”You found a dramatic persona, lost in the character, and you delivered something beautiful.” Carrie Ann gave Stephen and Rylee a 10 score, Derek a 9, Bruno a 9 for a total of 28 points
Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong danced a Viennese Waltz. Afterwards, Bruno said, “I’m spellbound. It was like a classic gothic novel, with exquisite quality of movement.” Carrie Ann said, “You’re still in the zone, but it wasn’t perfect because it was one of the hardest routines.” Derek said, “I loved the choreography. This dance was perfection.” Carrie Ann gave Chandler and Brandon a 9 score, Derek a 10, Bruno a 10 for a total of 29 points.
At this point, they did the dance-off round. To kick it off, Dwight and Daniella went up against Ilona and Alan with a Cha Cha routine. Afterwards, Carrie Ann said, “Both of you have come a long way. Dwight started off strong, but Ilona was more technically sound.” Derek said, “Dwight’s cha cha was fantastic. This is going to be a tough one.” Bruno said, “Dwight went for it, while Ilona was more technically sound.” The judges said Dwight and Daniella won it.
Jenn and Sasha went up against Stephen and Rylee with a Salsa dance. Afterwards, Derek said, “Jenn had a lot of content and went into it right away, while Stephen had great tricks.” Bruno said, “Stephen’s performance value keeps getting better, but it’s a tough call.” Carrie Ann said, “Your styles were very different. Jenn with smoothness. Stephen with impact.” The judges said Jenn and Sasha won it.
Danny and Witney went up against Joey and Jenna with a Jive number. Afterwards, Bruno said, “This was a battle of the six-packs. You both did well. One had more attack. The other had better technique.” Carrie Ann said, “Your approaches were different. One was more polished, and the other was more intense.” Derek said,”It’s a hard decision. This was a true battle that went back and forth.” The judges said Joey and Jenna won it.
After all of that, they revealed that all the couples were safe and through to next week except for Jenn Tran and Sasha Farber. They were eliminated. How do you guys feel about that? Let us know in the comments section.
