New The Gambler Movie Delivered Great Drama,Interesting Plot & More

Paramount Pictures released their new drama flick, “The Gambler,” into theaters this past Thursday. I just watched it and thought it was quite entertaining with an interesting plotline, much drama, and more. It stars: John Goodman, Mark Wahlberg, Jessica Lange, Brie Larson and Michael Kenneth Williams.

The movie revolved around English professor, Jim Bennett (Mark Wahlberg), who is also an extreme gambler that just constantly gambles away every single penny that he has and then some. After his tab with an Asian gambling ring owner, Alvin Ing, reaches over $260,000, he decides to borrow another $50,000 from a dangerous gangster, named Neville Baraka, only to gamble it all away just moments later. Oh, it was so painful to watch.

Now owing two dangerous people a whole hell of a lot of money, Jim turns to an even more dangerous loan shark, named Frank ( John Goodman), to get the money to pay off Neville and Alvin, but gets turned down. Read more »

New The Gambler Movie Received Mixed Reviews From Major Critics

Paramount Pictures released their new drama film, “The Gambler,” into theaters yesterday, December 25th, and all the reviews have been turned in from the top, major movie critics in the biz. It turns out that they were pretty mixed with their opinions, giving it an overall 55 score out of a possible 100 across 31 reviews at the Metacritic.com site.

Mick LaSalle from the San Francisco Chronicle, gave it a 75 score, saying: “Actually, Mom is the essential difference between Wahlberg and Caan. Caan has the glow of mother love on him. New American Sniper Movie Received Mostly Positive Reviews From Major Critics

Warner Bros. Pictures released their new drama film, “American Sniper,” into theaters yesterday, December 25th, and all the reviews have been submitted from the major, top movie critics. It turns out that it set a pretty good impression on most of them, getting an overall 72 score out of a possible 100 across 26 reviews at the Metacritic.com site. Kyle Smith over at the New York Post, gave it an excellent 100 score, stating: “The moral alertness of the film is of the level normally confined, in military pictures, to talky courtroom scenes, yet Eastwood skillfully works dilemmas into propulsive and suspenseful action.”

New Into The Woods Movie Received Mostly Positive Reviews From Major Critics

Walt Disney Pictures released their new fantasy/musical film, “Into The Woods,” into theaters yesterday, December 25th, and all the top,major movie critics have turned in their reviews. It ended up resonating quite well with most of them, getting an overall 71 score out of a possible 100 across 33 reviews at the Metacritic.com site.

New Star Trek 3 Movie Official Release Date Finally Revealed By Paramount

Yesterday, Paramount Pictures officially announced when the new Star Trek 3 movie would be released to celebrate their 50th anniversary in the movie biz. It turns out that we’re going to see the 3rd installment hit theaters on July 8th, 2016, so be sure to mark that down on your movie calendars.

New Hobbit 3,The Battle Of The Five Armies Movie Delivered Great Action,Drama & More

New Line Cinema (Warner Bros. Pictures) released their new action/fantasy flick, “The Hobbit 3: The Battle Of The Five Armies,” into theaters this weekend. I just watched it, and thought it was very entertaining, especially the back half of it when the huge war took place as it really offered some major action fight scenes.

20th Century FOX released their new comedy film, “Night At The Museum 3: Secret of the Tomb” into theaters today, and all the reviews are in from the top,major movie critics. It turns out that they were pretty mixed or more to the negative side with this one, giving it an overall 45 score out of a possible 100 across 23 reviews at the Metacritic.com site.

Survivor 29 Natalie Anderson Won The Whole Show Tonight,November 17th

Tonight’s show, kicked off with Natalie getting chewed out by Jaclyn for voting out her boyfriend ,Jon, at the previous tribal council. Meanwhile, Natalie contemplated how to keep herself safe the rest of the way. Next, they showed rewards challenge footage. It was a rope obstacle course that ended with them having to throw bags at some blocks until they cleared the entire block structure off.

Keith won to get an advantage in next immunity challenge. And he sent Jaclyn to exile island. More conversation footage, showed Baylor and Natalie planning to vote off Keith if he didn’t win the immunity challenge. New Exodus,Gods And Kings Movie Delivered Great Action But Skimped On Special Effects

20th Century released their new action/Bible flick, “Exodus: Gods and Kings,” into theaters this weekend. I just checked it out and thought it was very entertaining, but I was disappointed with how they skimped out on the special effects and really sort of just skimmed through a lot of the important parts of the story. But still it was an interesting take. The movie stars: John Turturro, Christian Bale, Sigourney Weaver, Ben Kingsley, Joel Edgerton, and Aaron Paul.

In the new flick, the plotline started off when Moses was already fully grown and a prince in Egypt alongside Ramses. It goes through the motions of how Moses eventually started talking with the Hebrews and discovered that he was actually born a Hebrew,and then later, was exiled from Egypt after Ramses found out about it.

From there, they showed how Moses fought off an assassination attempt while alone out in the middle of nowhere. Then he eventually met his wife before getting called by God to deliver the Hebrews out of the clutches of Egypt and 400 years of slavery. Read more »

New Chris Rock ‘Top Five’ Movie Received Mostly Positive Reviews From Major Critics

Paramount Pictures released their new Chris Rock comedy film, “Top Five,” into theaters today, and the the top movie critics in the biz, have served up their reviews for it. It turns out that most of them really enjoyed it, rewarding it with an overall 83 score out of a possible 100 across 30 reviews at the Metecritic.com site.
