Ok, for those of you who don’t know there is a new ‘Karate Kid’ remake movie in the works which will star Will Smith’s son Jayden as the karate kid. It’s kind of weird though since he’s only like 10 years old,and Ralph Macchio was about 23 years old when he took on the role. I guess they’re making an elementary school version of the Karate Kid. Well, anyways the word out is that Martial Arts / Action film star,Jackie Chan is in final negotiations to play the new Mr. Miyagi which I think is not a bad choice at all.

They’ll never be another Pat Morita,but I think Jackie Chan could bring a new fresh life to the Mr. Miyagi character.
