New ‘Transformers 3’ Movie Delivered Crazy Action,Drama & More
New ‘Transformers 3’ movie delivered crazy action, drama & more. DreamWorks Pictures (Paramount) released their new crazy, action flick “Transformers 3: Dark Of The Moon” this weekend. I just checked it out,and thought it was pretty amazing, but mostly towards the end.
I have to admit I sort of caught myself dozing off in the early parts. Overall, though, it was good. The movie stars: Shia LaBeouf, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Kevin Dunn, Julie White, Frances McDormand, John Malkovich, Ken Jeong, Patrick Dempsey, Alan Tudyk, John Turturro, and Leonard Nimoy.
In the new flick, Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) is back with a new, smoking hot girlfriend named Carly (Rosie Huntington Whiteley),but he’s having a very hard time finding a job even though he was given a medal of honor by the President of the United States for helping to save the world.
He’s also separated from his Autobot friends, including Bumblebee and Optimus Prime, but that doesn’t last long when Shockwave shows up on the scene to cause major, mass destruction after having been brought to Earth by the government when Astronauts discovered him on the moon. The “Dark Of The Moon.”
Optimus eventually decides to awaken Sentinel Prime with the Matrix to help fight Shockwave, but that turns out to be a big mistake since Sentinel’s long lost plan was to work with Shockwave and the other Decepticons to rebuild their planet Cybertron on Earth.
This,of course, causes an all out war that brings a crapload of destruction, but Sam and the Autobots end up turning things around, with a great twist, towards the end. The movie delivered huge action scenes, including big skyscrapers being crumbled,Sam really getting in the mix and stabbing robots, large explosions, big robot fights, and more. The action was non-stop towards the end.
Again, I thought the movie was kind of slow for my taste at first, probably from watching all the action-filled trailers. They give a false impression of what the first 30 minutes of the movie is like. Anyhow, once the action picked up,it really picked up and I was totally into it.
There was lots of drama between Sam and Carly as the action started to go up a notch. Rosie Huntington Whiteley was great eye-candy for the movie. She wore some very figure-flattering skirts.
Shia LaBeouf did great. They really got his character very involved in this one,and it was fun to watch. Patrick Dempsey played Carly’s boss who turned out to be a villain. He was great. His character and Sam really fight it out.
I gave the movie an A- grade. Get your “Transformers 3: Dark Of The Moon” tickets at Fandango by Transformers: Dark of the Moon Clicking Here.
