Grey’s Anatomy Jo Wilson Star Camilla Luddington Discussed A Possible Return Of Another Former Character
Happy Monday, “Grey’s Anatomy” fans. We’ve got some more pretty interesting news for you guys in regards to Camilla Luddington who plays character Jo Wilson on your favorite show. Recently, the folks over at Entertainment Weekly got to chat up Camilla for a hypothetical plotline idea, and she thought it was well, juicy.
The hypothetical plotline they brought up was in reference to one of Alex Kerav’s exes Izze Stevens played by actress Katherine Heigl. Since Camilla’s character Jo is now married to Alex, they thought it would be fun to bring up the idea of a possible Izzie return to Camilla, and she totally thought it’s a fun idea indeed. She also thinks it would make for a pretty juicy twist stating, “I actually think it’s kind of a fun idea. Well, I just think it’d be juicy. It would bring maybe a little bit of drama.”
After that, Camilla went on to say that she thinks the idea of an Izzie was sort of put to rest last season, but she definitely does think it would make for a pretty juicy storyline. She told them, “I do think it kind of got put to bed last season because he kind of did say he was happy for her wherever she is and whatever she’s doing. So, I joke about not wanting it to happen, but it would be kind of juicy wouldn’t it?”
In their article, Entertainment Weekly pointed out that the Izzie Stevens character hasn’t been seen on the show since season 6. She was part of the original cast since the very first season one. When Izzie’s portrayer Katherine Heigl left the show, there was much speculation that she had a falling out with creator Shonda Rhimes. However, Katherine said she left the show because she wanted to spend more time with her family.
Since Katherine and her Izzie character left the show, Alex has been in a number of relationships, but obviously Jo is the one that got him to settle down again.
Speaking of Alex and Jo’s relationship, it looks like they could be headed for a bit of trouble in the next, new episode 6 of this current season 15. ABC released a new preview clip that featured Jo telling Bailey that she doesn’t think Alex will ever forgive her for something she’s done. That definitely doesn’t sound good at all. It’ll be interesting to finally see what the hell she’s talking about when episode 6 airs.
Another huge, season 15 storyline that could be about to happen is Doctor Teddy Altman finally breaking the news to Owen that she’s carrying his love child right now. It looks like she’s almost about to do it in the upcoming episode 6, but will get distracted away from doing it. That’s how ABC describes it in their teaser description. However, we’re hoping the moment finally arrives at some point. We’ll certainly find out soon enough.
