Bachelorette 2019 News: ABC Revealed Why They Chose Hannah Brown Aka Hannah B
Hey, Bachelor Nation fans. We’ve got some very interesting intel to share with you guys in this report. Previously, we reported that Hannah Brown aka Hannah B is your new Bachelorette for the upcoming ABC’s The Bachelorette 2019 edition. The reaction from all of you Bachelor Nation fans was probably mixed at best with it slightly leaning towards not wanting Hannah to be the new Bachelorette.
Well, now it has been revealed that ABC has come forward to explain why they chose Hannah B to headline the 2019 season for them. According to the folks over at Cheatsheet.com, an ABC executive named Rob Mills did all the explaining. Apparently, ABC just saw something very different in Hannah B that they had never seen before in a Bachelorette. She was kind, charming and goofy.
Rob Mills stated, “There was something about Hannah B. Part of it was that she thought she was the dark horse. So, she came in and had nothing to lose saying, ‘I don’t know. I’m just going to be myself.’ There was just something different that we hadn’t seen in a Bachelorette before. Very kind of charming and goofy.
When she had her intro video for The Bachelor and she said, ‘I’m Hannah. All aboard the hot mess express!’ You think that’s probably just shtick, and then we figured out, no that’s actually true. People are going to really like spending a lot of time with her. When it’s going good, she’s going to let you know, and when it’s going bad, she’s going to let you know.”
Rob did take the time to acknowledge a lot of the Bachelor Nation fan’s concern about Hannah not seemingly being able to know what to say or do. However, he also acknowledged that a lot of fans thought that was endearing and charming. He was one of those people.
Rob explained, “I think some people thought, ‘Oh my gosh.’ How is this person going to be the Bachelorette when they seem to really not know what to say or where to stand or what to do?’ And then there are people who said, ‘We’ve never seen this before, and it seems endearing and charming.’ And I was in that camp. I think it’s very easy to teach somebody how to pick up a rose or say a name, but you can’t fake the natural sort of charm and nervousness and everything that she had, and I thought that was really, really great.”
Aside from the Hannah B talk, Rob also revealed that other popular ladies from Colton’s Bachelor 2019 season were definitely considered for the Bachelorette 2019 role. He mentioned that they had met with: Hannah Godwin, Tayshia Adams, Caelynn Miller-Keyes, and Demi Burnett.
We just love Demi over here. She was so funny. She cracked me up in every episode. There’s no official announcement yet, but I’m pretty sure we’ll see Demi in “Bachelor In Paradise.” I will totally tune in just to see Demi get crazy. That girl is a riot. I could definitely see Demi in other TV shows or possibly in movies. That’s how good she is.
Anyways, what do you guys think of ABC’s explanation for choosing Hannah B to be the new Bachelorette this season? Do you like it? Do you hate it? Or do you just not care one way or the other? Let us know in the comments.
