Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists Gained More Live Viewers And Better Ratings In Episode 3
Hey, Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists fans. We have some slightly better news for you guys in this article. We had previously reported that the new spin off was getting very bad LIVE ratings and viewership numbers in the first two episodes. The premiere episode only drew in around 450,000 viewers, give or take. What was really alarming is that number was cut in half during the second episode at just 235,000 live viewers.
We were really hoping the LIVE viewership numbers and ratings wouldn’t drop further after episode 2 because that would mean the show was going to be in even more danger of cancellation than it already is. Well, it looks like things did take a slightly better turn in episode 3. It beat out the live viewership and ratings numbers that episode 2 brought in.
According to TVseriesfinale.com, Episode 3 drew in 0.286 million viewers, which is around 286,000. That’s a 21.70 percent increase over episode 2’s numbers. The ratings for episode 3 rose to 0.14 after having dropped to all the way down to 0.09 in episode 2. That was a 55.56 percent increase in the ratings for the 18-49 year old demographic.
Ok, so that’s certainly good news that the live ratings and viewership numbers improved over episode 2.However, the bad news is that these live numbers are still quite abysmal. What we are hoping is that they will keep improving week after week. If they do, we can certainly see a possible shred of hope for the future existence of this show.
These numbers will still need to improve monumentally for that to happen. How do you guys feel about these improved live ratings and viewership numbers for episode 3? Do you think they’ll keep improving? Or is this just a momentary dip up? Let us know in the comments section.
In related news. For those of you who missed it, we previously reported that former Pretty Little Liars stars Ashley Benson aka Hanna Marin and Troian Bellisario aka Spencer Hastings reportedly want to come on and direct a few of The Perfectionists episodes if it gets a season 2 renewal from Freeform.
Alison Dilaurentis star Sasha Pieterse was the one who revealed that important intel. She also said that scheduling conflicts were the main reason why other original Pretty Little Liars castmembers didn’t get involved in the first season of The Perfectionists.
Sasha stated,”You know what the biggest problem is? Which is the best problem to have in Hollywood? Scheduling. Everyone is so busy, which is such a blessing for everybody. I’m so happy for our cast and our crew. We’ve just always been supportive of each other, but that has been our biggest challenge is scheduling. Troian had a baby, she couldn’t direct our first season.”
Headlineplanet.com revealed some extra info about The Perfectionists ratings. They say it’s generating a healthy amount of DVR viewers, but the live numbers are still hurting quite a bit. Episode 4 is scheduled to air on Wednesday night, April 10, 2019 at approximately 7 pm central standard time.
Episode 4 is entitled, “The Ghost Sonata.” Let’s hope and pray that episode 4 draws in more live viewers and ratings to keep things on an uptick.
