Power Season 6, October 20, 2019 Episode 9 Delayed. Not Airing That Night
Hey, “Power” fans. If you were looking for the brand new episode 9 of this current season 6 last night, October 20, 2019, I imagine you were greatly disappointed to see that it was not on.
Yeah, for some reason, STARZ decided not to air the new episode 9 this week. We’re still not sure why.
Instead, they aired the 8th episode of season 6 rerun on the east coast. That episode is called, “Deal With The Devil.” STARZ’s official description of it reads like this, “The Feds turn the heat up on Tommy and scare LaKeisha into cooperating.
Ghost discontinues a relationship with an ally. Tasha confronts a snitch, which hits a little too close to home.”
Then on the west coast, they aired the 4th episode of this current season 6, which is labeled, “Why Is Tommy Still Alive?”
STARZ’s official description of that one reads like this, “Tasha meets a new flame; Ghost does everything he can to eliminate Tommy; Proctor prepares a plan in getting the custody of his daughter.”
The good news is that you will get to see episode 9 eventually. It’s actually scheduled to air next Sunday night, October 27, 2019 at approximately 7 pm central standard on STARZ of course. So, be sure to mark down that very important date on your TV show calendars.

Now, that we’ve got our spoiler warning out of the way, the title for episode 9 is called, “Scorched Earth.”
STARZ official description/synopsis for episode 9 reads like this,”As Ghost and Tommy move forward with their plan to kill Jason, Tommy enacts a plan of his own.

Also, there’s some other important news we want to tell you guys. STARZ has actually ordered 15 episodes in total for this final season 6.
The 10th episode will be the Fall finale. Then the last 5 episodes are supposed to air in the Spring of 2020, starting on March 7,2020 with episode 11 according to Trakt.TV
Please note that this date is subject to change at anytime as STARZ sees fit. We will try to update it if we find out that they changed it, but we can’t guarantee anything.
These extra 5 episodes means that season 6 is actually being split into two parts. Once we get any intel on the last 5 episodes, we will certainly post it.
According to a recent report from denofgeek.com. The COO of STARZ Jeffrey Hirsch is the one who announced the big news that Power season 6 would be split into two parts. He had made the announcement at the 2019 TCA summer press tour.
