‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Season 16, November 28, 2019 Episode 10 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight
Hey,”Grey’s Anatomy” fans. We are back on here for some unfortunate reasons. It turns out that your favorite primetime medical drama will indeed be MIA (missing in action) tonight, November 28, 2019.
You see, the last episode 9 was indeed the Fall finale episode. So, the next, new episode 10 of this current 16th season won’t be airing for quite some time.
We do have the official date that episode 10 is due to air. It is currently scheduled to air on Thursday night, January 23, 2019 at approximately 7 pm central standard time on ABC of course. So, definitely be sure to mark down that very important date on your TV show calendars.
What will ABC air in place of Grey’s Anatomy tonight? That’s a very good question. According to the TV Guide listings, ABC will be airing a Wonderful World of Disney special called, “THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF DISNEY: MAGICAL HOLIDAY CELEBRATION.”
ABC’s official description for it reads like this, “Join hosts Matthew Morrison, Emma Bunton, and Jesse Palmer as they present the two-hour special from Cinderella Castle at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland Resort in California.
This magical celebration will feature celebrity musical performances among a flurry of Disney holiday entertainment. Viewers will be treated to several Disney Parks sneak peeks, including a behind-the-scenes look into Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.”
Then next Thursday night, December 5,2019, ABC is going to air a new Charlie Brown special called, “A CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS.”
ABC’s official description for it reads like this, “In the Emmy and Peabody-winning animated cartoon from 1965, the gang mounts a holiday pageant as Charlie Brown bemoans Yuletide commercialism.
Also, a new set of animated “Peanuts” vignettes, based on previously published strips. Voices. Charlie Brown: Peter Robbins. Lucy: Tracy Stratford. Linus: Christopher Shea.”
Beyond those two dates, we don’t know what ABC will air in place of Grey’s Anatomy because TV Guide doesn’t list anything beyond the immediate two weeks. The important date you need to remember is the January 23, 2019 date though.
We do have a bit of good news for the new Grey’s Anatomy episode 10. ABC did release a new preview clip for it. It does feature some spoiler teasers. So, if you don’t like spoilers, it’s highly recommended that you exit this article right now. You’ve been warned.
Ok, now that our spoiler warning is in effect, let’s go over this new episode 10 preview clip. The clip reveals that it will be another crossover event with Grey’s Anatomy’s spin off show Station 19 that is finally returning.
Ben and Jackson are heavily featured in the clip. Ben is seen in a predicament where he says,”Yeah, that’s not good.” Then we’re hit with a series of very intense scenes. At one point, a woman says, “Am I dying?” Jackson yells,”No one is dying.”
Bailey is seen screaming, “Get my husband out of there!” The clip caps off with an entire vehicle collapsing in on the building that Jackson, Ben and a whole lot of other people are in! You guys can view the new preview clip for episode 8 over on Youtube by Clicking Here.
The current ratings and LIVE viewership numbers for Grey’s Anatomy look pretty steady and good. It’s averaging 6.113 million LIVE viewers per episode and a 1.31 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics.
The last episode 9 brought in 6.404 million LIVE viewers and a 1.40 ratings score. Grey’s Anatomy has already been renewed for a new 17th season. So, that’s definitely good news.
Again, ABC confirmed that episode 10 is scheduled to air on Thursday night, January 23, 2020 at approximately 7 pm central standard time.
